No, those are handled by the retailers so the devs don't have lots of preorder codes hanging around. It's a shame, particularly when there's a preorder bonus that looks really cool but you can't justify a game you're already getting a free copy of. However the whole "free copy" makes up for it.

When possible we do get steam codes so we can preload games and play them when they're first unlocked.


We usually go through and lock all of the logging threads when the major ones all have over 2000 posts.

Are there any requirements you need to do in order to say as a mod? (minimum hours online, certain number of locked threads, etc.) Or is it completely relaxed?

It's a real topic but that isn't really the name of it. HD had to rename some of the topics before he could post it on the open forum.

Or like with Oblivion, I decided not to play my signed game and to save it as it came with all those dev sigs all over it and a disk that is still unused.

Seriously, we moderate as much or as little as we want to. There are no requirements to do anything specific, sometimes real life interferes and moderators will drop out of sight for a while.

Yep. When we have been looking for new mods several refused for various reasons, not everyone wants the job. I know princess-stomper was very unsure before she finally said yes and I said no initially as I was quite happy in the Morrowind forums - - - and then the black van turned up. :unsure:
