Yeah, I can see where the Alien would have the speed advantage. It seemed like I was able to hit right click at a good enough distance that as I closed it and auto-lock took over, I'd hit them and stun 'em, then left click real quick to finish them off.
Then some guy would be standing behind me, grab me, and kill me.
Seriously. My second game, I swear I saw 4 people die in a row because of this.
Guy 2 grabs Guy 1. Guy 3 runs behind Guy 2. Guy 2 kills Guy 1. Guy 3 grabs Guy 2. Guy 4 runs behind Guy 3. Guy 3 kills Guy 2. Guy 4 grabs Guy 3. Guy 5 runs behind Guy 4. Guy 4 kills Guy 3...etc.
Like I said, approaching a skilled Predator head on is asking for trouble. Most of the time they have wrist blades, disengage and hit him again when he least expects it.
Predators hunt Humans
Aliens hunt Predators
Humans Just die
:P
What I mean to say is, that it is easier for a Predator to hunt a human than it is an alien. Aka stalking and keeping hidden while following them for a good kill. Where as aliens are good at doing this to a Predator because of their speed. Then humans just die.
That is why I love coming across Predators. I know they are going to be in human vision mode a good chunk of the time on servers with low alien population. It's an easy process to get behind the slow beasts and slay them.
Humans are easy to kill either way. Charge and and zig zag, or sneak attack. Poor bastards get eaten left and right. Even when two of them decide to work together I can hit and run fast enough to kill one of them and then go recover. Then sneak back in to finish the last svcker off.
At least Predators are a threat, what with their complete melee combat ass kicking ability if they land a hit.
