It's Back!

I agree that it really needs to be wider. There's so much empty space!

tell me about it.

I have enough free space to browse 3 diffirent threads at same time...

It's not that big on my screen, but I still want it gone. It's cluttering up my screen. Hopefully I've missed an option somewhere to hide it. There was absolutely nothing wrong with the old layout.

.... Kill it with fire. Why does it follow us around ?

Agreed, or at least custom backgrounds, so there's something to look at other than grey space.

What the [censored] am I looking at. I couldn't even find community discussion.

Agreed.

And I'm also with the others who are miffed about the search bar overlay. Really? did we all use it that much that it needed to be looming over us like a tip-starved waiter?

Alright, seriously, how do you get to community discussion? The only way I was able to find this thread was by looking in the recently added topics list.

I like it. It's different, and will take some adjustment, but I like it. Different is good.

Spare a thought for us old fogies!

I agree with whoever said: why fix what isn't broken. The old layout was great. Why the change?

I went to the TES forums and at the bottom was Community Discussion. It seems it doesn't have it's own forum on the main page.

I think whoever decided on the web design for the new layout must be pretty disappointed by now.

It should be at the front page along with the other sections. I had to wade through another forum to get to CD.

The community discussion is located at the bottom of the topics.

Actually we are at the community discussion right now.

Agreed.

I only found it by looking at my profile and looking at my previous posts.

At least you can use the browser you like :P the bethesda forums are not worth me switching from IE :P

Actually I don't know if I can use the browser I like. Right now I am at work and therefore using Firefox.

You can always get Firefox with the IE look-alike themes such as https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/4129 or https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/4988 (along with the https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/5992 for greater control)

All I know is that until a brighter more happy skin is released, I am loading my own custom CSS and scripts (Thank you Opera, for making this extremely easy to do). I do believe I even have a few of the old CSSes saved somewhere.

I hate it. The color is terrible. The several inches of wasted space on both lateral borders is horrible. I like everything about the old set up so very much better. I'm going to get off now, go throw up and hope it reverts from this mess to its former glory. Did I mention I don't care for the changes one bit?

I somewhat like it, it looks clean and modern.
However, being on a full HD monitor it's annoying to have those large grey stripes on the sides. Maybe there is an option for it that I'm missing ?

So slow (I dont think I will ever manage a double post, even if there was no flood control), and hard to navigate.

After what seems like forever, the forum is back online with a brand new layout. What does everyone think of it?

I like the old one better.

Agreed, or at least custom backgrounds, so there's something to look at other than grey space.

I'd end up looking at Lucario all day

This layout takes longer to load than the old one.

The old way was defiantly better but only time will tell if this new style will grow on me. I do like the color scheme though, I think it will be fine after I get used to navigating it.

I would rather go back to the origional. At least make it full screen not have half my computer screen grey.

Absolutely agree on this. The rest I can get used to, but this is really bugging me.
