Yeah, the number of bullets needed to kill someone is a bit on the ridiculous side. Because the look sensitivity is so low and it takes so many bullets to kill someone, I usually run through one full clip for a single kill, which is on the annoying side. Plus, the lag makes leading your shots a little hit or miss most of the time.
I love playing a medic, though. Another medic and I were able to hold an entire building by ourselves simply because we could continually rez one another and the others in the building. In fact, it almost seems overpowered in comparison to the amount of time you need to wait to rez. Not a fan of the medic having the LMG, but I can change that once the full game is released.
There's always the all-kit weapons (Shotguns, battle rifles, Thompson.)
Personally, I like the beta quite a bit. I play on PC, am used to CoD but still do fine.
While I agree that it takes a LOT of bullets to kill someone, you can't expect to spray as accurately as CoD.
I've also seen people try to quick-scope in Bad Company 2. It just doesn't work that way.
My favourite tactic so far? Planting C4 on a quad and planting that quad into one of the objectives, then blowing the C4. With the explosives upgrade (That is, the explosive count upgrade so you carry double the explosives) you can plant 5 packs of C4 on a target; enough to take it down at once. People don't really expect it.
Major gripe: Mortar strikes. Seriously, limit them somehow. It's just annoying.
