Anger. I can't seem to download the PS3 demo, I can't wait 43,876 minutes for it to download. (And I swear, it got that high)

Bahahahhahahha, just got a crapload of medals while defending. Tried to take a screenshot of them all (4 screenshots total, the bar on the bottom scrolled for a very long distance on 1920x1200) but I guess they didn't save.

First part of the game I was constantly repairing this one vehicle. It survived several tank attacks. I kept repairing the same guy over and over again until we got a chopper at the end, which we flew around killing everyone with and flying off to repair when necessary. In the end we lost though, my pilot (very good) was flying near their spawn and they have capped the objective before we got there.

I've tried flying the choppers several times alone but I always crash and blow up.

I've been playing the beta on the PC, and it's really fun. This is the first Battlefield game I've played since Battlefield: Vietnam and I think they've done a pretty good job advancing the series. My favorite class to play as is the Engineer, I love running around with a shotgun blowin' up everything I see. :hehe: The vehicle mechanics are a lot different though, I used to be pretty good with vehicles in 1942 and Vietnam but I'm terrible as anything but the gunners now. I don't really mind though because I still have a lot of fun. The only thing I don't like is the lack of toggle crouch, my poor little finger gets tired holding the button down so much. :P

That happened to me too but I wasn't looking at the screen so when I looked all I saw was the epic fail on the screen...

First time I commited suicide I laughed so hard when I saw that.

I got a new CPU and more RAM today and now the PC Beta runs like a dream on High settings whereas it used to struggle on medium. It seems my old CPU was holding me back. Haven't put much time into it yet though as I've been playing lots of other stuff, but it definitely seems good. I reckon I'll probably just get it on the 360 though so that I have more friends to play it with.

I played a few games yesterday, and nearly everyone was using the 870 MCS. One of my teammates also found that you can teamkill in 'normal' mode, all you have to do is make a building collapse on half the team.

What's wrong with the shotguns? They're definitely my favorite weapons, I use the SAIGA S20K all the time and destroy people. :D On the topic of teamkilling/griefing, I think they should change the damaging system for the M-COM stations when you're on defense. I understand why they made it possible to damage them, but I've ran into quite a few people who blow up our own stations on purpose. <_< I think the defenders should only be able to damage them after the attackers set a charge, that would pretty much eliminate griefing.

Not saying that there's anything wrong with em, but it's kinda annoying being killed by one on every other death.
Some [censored] decided to try that in the last game I played. There was one M-com Station (first stage of the map) left, and I think there were two or three respawn tickets left for the attackers when he destroyed it. I was trying to get him to kill himself by having the grenade he was launching hit me and explode at point blank range. :banghead: :swear:
Edit: Apparently, I have lost the ability to type coherently.

They've said in the retail version they are going to update how many C4's are going to be able to damage the M-COM stations, why they don't update the beta I don't know.

The games coming out in ten days, so to them it's probably not worth the time and effort to patch it as they are probably fiddling with last minute tweaks.

Just played the 360 demo, may buy it, but any tips because sniping is pretty damn hard.

Bullets are slightly effected by gravity, so to get a headshot at range you have to aim a little above their heads. And if they're moving you have to also aim a little in front of them.

What will be better to hear is when they announce the server list is fixed, not being able to sort by anything is a load of crap.

Entertaining tactic: Have a friend get on an ATV coated with friendly C4. Send this friend out to find a target. When he informs you of his target, press the detonator.

Thanks for the heads up, but I'm not really interested in 2142 so I'll just stick with good ol' Steam.

I loved that video, and I haven't even been able to play the game yet(damn demo won't work.)

I pre-ordered it,though..and I'm excited after seeing some things about it.

Near the end when he said"I just got shot in the face and need some serious bandaids!" made me burst out laughing for some reason, too. :3

My skill rating went down but my K/D ratio went up. Must be all those suicidal C4 vehicle bombings.

That was useful, especially since I had no idea how to ask for ammo or spot targets, on my recon I saw alot of targets but was low on ammo and couldnt do a thing...damn I also learened how to snipe, this seems better than MW2.

Finally got the demo today on Xbox. I'll probably be playing a lot tomorrow (or today, whatever, it's 2 in the morning) if anyone wants to team up.

"When you hear your teammates say: Theres a [censored] hiding in the rocks with a radioactive twinkie! Or something along those lines..." I know, i loved some of those quotes :P
