Am I the only one getting some eery CoD vibes here?

I thought EA was trying to beat Activision with a better product, not just imitate theirs. Not trying to say this means Battlefield is going to be exactly like CoD, but I despise these rushed out "yearly" games I have the feeling EA wants to jump on the bandwagon with.

Would be awesome to get things like that on Xbox without being banned or having immortal flying soldiers gun you down every 3secs :)

Yeah, hopefully its only confirmed and not due for a next year release, I like more than a yearly break between games so I can reassure myself that they are not rushed.

Didn't say anything about releasing next year. He just confirmed that they will continue the franchise.

Frankly, after the Success of BF3, I'm not surprised. We all knew they wouldn't drop a title right after it became their fastest selling game of all time.

No friends playing now that Skyrim is out. I check every so often to see if there’s anybody one but it's still that 0. I'm playing Skyrim too so...

EA has been trash talking Activision lately. They have been saying things like, "The COD series is garbage and is a waste of gamers pay checks." Activsion doesn’t seem to care since EA is making a fool out of themselves.

We should organize a game night for the PC. At least get enough people for a squad.

Edit: I should I put this in my above post. I was not thinking.

I have been playing Skyrim, pretty good so far. I keep finding to much stuff, I need to max my heavy armor so it doesn't have any weight.

BF3? It hasnt come out yet. You mean MW4? DICE ruined their franchise. I took every map except firestorm, caspian, noshahr and kharg off my server browser. If I want CoD i'd buy it. Metro is a straight line, just like tehran, bazaar, damavand and probably a few im forgetting. A map without vehicles? Why not just call it MW4?

This thread isn't about Skyrim, it's about BF3. Using your logic, we should be able and willing to tie any subject back to anything else, as long as we include how the original topic isn't being discussed.

I could make a thread about artwork, and someone would be able to post that they are too busy reading to make art. Not a very productive post, is it? It doesn't add to the thread in any noticeable way, aside from derailing it.

Glad you could share, we were just dying to hear that you were playing Skyrim instead of the game the topic is about.

Well at least there aren't any leaks yet like Call of Duty, there were already people ready for the next call of duty "ironwolf" before MW 3 came out. Maybe we can still give BF a chance, they only said a 4th one will come out, now when.

Which class should I put the Supr specialization on? Support with an LMG?

Same with the Covr specialization. Should it be on Recon?

Really liking the game so far. It isn't one of those things that I can sit down and marathon for hours on end, but I usually get in about an hour or two a day. The people comparing BF3 to CoD, I don't really see, personally. The two play very differently, and the gunplay certainly requires a lot more though. Anyway, just wanted to say I really like the game. Being that I don't much care for competitive multiplayer in general, that is sort of saying something.

This game beckons to be used with the PS Move Sharpshooter :gun: . I have one and it works great on games like Killzone 3 and SOCOM 4, Battlefield 3 would have been a great game to use it on I think.
