That's true, the game wasn't really all that good in beta, but it's vastly improved since then. I'm loving it now.

I agree, in the Beta I was getting a little worried but it seems that they've fixed almost everything. The only thing that still pisses me off is just the players. You get a lot of "Lone Wolfs" and no matter what server you play on 50% of the players are Recon and sit back and do nothing but shoot people while the rest of the team gets slaughtered trying to take the objectives. Not to mention you can walk two feet without getting shot at by a sniper.

Also, all of you Bethesda Brigade people, you guys want to organize some Squads within the Platoon so that when we play matches together we can work effectively?

I was thinking like for a normal squad we could have two Assault guys so that we can revive people even if one gets shot down, a support guy to lay down suppressive fire, and an engineer in case we run into any enemy armor. I play mostly as a Medic oriented Assault class, so does anyone else want to join in and play as a squad today?

Yea it's difficult and to hit even with snipers at an extremely long range, the bullet trajectory goes down after a certain amount of distance.

Yeah, there was a guy on the enemy team in our base in Canol and he got me. So when I respawned, I spent the next 5 minutes or so trying to hit the guy. I got a few hit counters but I always aimed too high or too low. Until they had gotten our base and we got pushed back. He was still there so I tried a few more times, missed..and then finally I hit him on one of the shots and let me tell ya..it felt pretty awesome. It was only 187m but still I was pretty proud of what I did. He ended up being first place over both teams with some 25 kills so it was like taking down a leader or something. The funny thing is, he never ran away from his spot so he must have known I wasn't that good of a shot after the first 15 or so misses hahaha.

Speaking on that, I'm tired of the random party generator putting me against teams with rank 25+ people on it. Suffice to say they'll have slightly better equipment than I would so I'd like it to be more fairly matched. One of the matches I got into once had my entire team being rank 15s and under (well I think we had 1 or 2 20s on our side) and the enemy team had mostly 20s and 2 40s. I was like wtf is this?!

This is why I laugh at everyone who says Co-Op is pointless. You can unlock some pretty powerful guns in Co-op to use in multiplayer.

So yes I am serious. If your on the PC I'll play with you.

Indeed I love some of the co op guns. Still need to do ninjas and bullseye challenges. Those sound like fun, but sadly everyone goes gunsblazing or lacks a mic.

Had my best game so far on Seine Crossing Conquest. Went 41-15 and finished with 1115 points. By the time I was through with all the bonuses it ranked me up a full level. Also unlocked my first cool secondary dog tag, it's the rifle specialist one.

I had a good game once, no where near yours though. Then I ran out of ammo in my assault rifle. And no one on my team gave out ammo. How fun. Also got a squad wipe in that match, closest I ever got to getting that ribbon. Im suprised they didnt learn when 2 of their squad where killed infront of them, still walked though the door trying to flank my team... Poor guys.

I've been playing well these past couple of days, lot more points..enough to bring my SPM up to 191 from 160 something and my k/d ratio from 1.34 to 1.56 in about 3 1/2 hours of play. Which is fairly good for me.

Hmm, my K/D ratio is 0.639, but my SPM is almost 299. I guess I'm just odd :shrug:

I guess it's because I play more as a medic. I have 175 revives, and 3,843 heals. But only 241 Kills and 120 assists.

im really looking forward to this game. i even got a new graphics card just for BF3. could some beta testers assuage my fears though. ive read some random posts here and there by people saying that the game wasnt all that great in beta and this was just a couple of weeks ago. hopefully this is a small minority and/or they have addressed any problems. ive been waiting for a new BF game since 2142.

edit: just read the above review. thanks it sounds like its going good after all. the thing that drove me nuts about CoD was that you could snipe people across the maps with ak47s.

I bought a new computer worth 1000€ for Battlefield 3 and for Skyrim. You have no idea how much it is great the graphics on BF3!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So much, that I have to use the nightscope to kill easier my enemies better than the 4x

Anyway guys, with some german friends found on the battlefield3 playing this weekend, I am enjoying much more the game!!!!!!!!
It is like when you find people with good affinity and team kind of play, the game increase his level of enjoyment.
We totally rocked various time!!! Taking the ace ribbon squad many times over and naturally doing even various MVP achievements.

Trust me, It is so cool to know that you have a good team, and that when you die there will be a medic there. Or when you go around a corner of a building, you got one of the team covered the other side. Or when you got a tank, and you are waiting for your team mates to massacre the enemy.

And this without mic!!!

I cannot wait to enjoy with some of you on mic, which software do you use so I'll install it? WARNING, if we take the helicopter, I might sing Rides of Valkiries

p.s. and you have no idea how much is nice to hear over the chat, that people that join the team, are really happy to play with us because we are really a TEAM.

Anyway best funny thing happened to me last weekend playing, in the Paris map, I normally play on tank, I think to be enough skilled, so I move a lot backward and forward and sideways to avoid enemies tank shells, so I do a backward movement, and I did so much that I fall with the tank in the river, BUT I save the tank from falling over so I am there on the canol, parking my tank thinking and laughing "how the hell I get out of this with my tank?!?"

No enough movement, or enough stairs to move the tank up again...

I have been tearing it up with the helos all of a sudden, I hate people that camp in them at the flying vehicle spawn points. And the ones that come around in the jet because they have the timeing set for when they spawn after they blow them up.
Anyone else notice that the hard on co-op is easier than the normal?
