Bethesda, I really hope Dawnguard isn't your "big" D

Post » Fri Jun 22, 2012 5:52 am

I want an expansion, the magnitude of Shivering Isles, I think of Dawnguard of a content add-on.

Having played Dawnguard I love spending time with the little people and their speculations.

Common sense would tell you they aren't going to release the "big" DLC as the first one.

Fear there's a few trolls posing as BETA people here. Doesn't matter , I'll await detailed reviews after release for a balanced assessment. Anything else is likely to be tainted by player enthusiasm, and incomplete playthrough at this point.

Not buying Dawnguard DLC because

1) Souped up Vamps aren't really what I'd like to see in Skyrim personally. But I would welcome more territory to explore I guess.
2) As a PS3 player, I'm not sure we'll ever see a DLC, there's just too many glitches in the main game still. ( Interesting how Gameinformer worded it! ) NO word or sign of a 1.6 patch yet.

Pretty sure I'll pickup the GOTY edition tho' somewhere in the future....

False. I know facts. And the facts are, it's a 20 dollar 10-20 hour DLC. That's not an opinion.

You still have to play it to know what your talking about.

This is a question that can be asked for the beta testers: Bugs, are there many? Are there any that effect the vanilla game? Or is it going smoothly~

Technically, we aren't supposed to be saying anything whatsoever about the beta, but I guess some people feel the need to feel special about it or be noticed, and release vague information.

i don't complain, i criticize some areas of the game. I enjoy Elder Scrolls games and i have ever since the release of Oblivion years ago. Without some criticism, you can't expect them to fix the things that may have been lacking. And sometimes it's good to just release some frustration about something thats bothering you on these forums. That's why they make forums. Not only to applaud the game, but criticize it also. If you don't like it, maybe the forums are just not for you. Forums aren't for everybody.

I'm beginning to be of the opinion that anyone falsely claiming to be a beta tester should get a 'time out'...

It's the internet, people will claim many things that may or may not be true, my best advice is to just ignore them. In any case, to the OP all I have to say is wait for the retail release and experience the DLC before you criticize it. Once that time comes, you're free to do so as much as you want. It's hard to judge a DLC when it isn't even out yet and you can't expect anybody else to do so either.

False claims of being a tester are as blatant a trolling act as you'll ever see. It's needless, inflammatory and misleading.

Btw, I'm well jelly bro ;)
