I wasn't talking about the cleavage, I was talking about how they released the PC version out of the blue, without coming out with a release date beforehand. How would people who don't go to Gearbox's forum know about the PC version coming out if they never saw a release date?

Y'know, the internet.

No [censored], but Gearbox could have had the decency to tell people ahead of time that the DLC was going to be coming out. It's like just releasing a game that you never had a release date for, it's a stupid move.

This is GearBox we're talking about...

I am glad it's out, though.

Maybe people should just be glad its out rather than a February release date.

Just finished an Underdome match. At one point, we had low gravity and super speed. It felt a lot like Unreal.
The arena are great co-op, but rather meh in single player.

Yep, max level is 50.

I'm not getting the DLC. I'm going to spend my money on Dragon Age DLC. At least BioWare doesn't treat PC gamers like crap.

Got a Bloody Chimera revolver the other day. It has easily become the best and most fun weapon I've picked up in that game.

Yeah, seriously. I don't see why you'd be in the least bit upset about them releasing DLC on the PC.

...Hey, does anyone here remember "The Legend of Marley and Moe" quest? Did anyone else try to do that [censored] at level ten? I died about ten times. Eventually, I just said, "[censored] it!" and ran into a bandit camp. They followed me in. DAMMIT. I killed about three BA psychos before I could even get away from all the raiders. At that point, I had to get up on the railing, where "only" M&M's energy blasts could get me. I had to use bloodwing (which was a good strategy because every time I did, the enemy's body would drop one extra item)... and discovered you could shoot them in the mouth for a crit. By this point I had emptied all my ammo except for my shotgun into Marley, and she didn't go down until I introduced her throat to my hawk. She exploded in a hail of items, including a purple crit-inducing revolver. Moe went down in a head-exploding haze of blood.

...Anyone else had extreme moments in this game where victory was thought to be almost unachievable?

When I was facing Mad Mel I thought I had to be in the ring, and he kept on killing me. I thought I wasn't going to be able to do it until I just stood outside and blasted him. Then I thought it was too easy haha.

Also, going back to Zombie Island at lv 30 leads to great weapon finds. I made about 400k just off of the drops and found a few new guns to use/give to my friends. Including an 800 damage Rocket Launcher, a 2x 94 SMG and a 133 dmg battle rifle..upgraded mine by about 30 damage. I also bought a shield I found at the health machine.. that has 582 and 108 recharge. That was a pretty cool find.

Yeah. I was fighting the destroyer yesterday, not a hard fight but this time the b****** decided that he wanted to spam the explody spikes that impale you. What makes this even worse is he'd always retract his tentacles after shooting out the spikes so I couldn't get a second wind. I'm still wondering if this was a glitch. So I ended up wasting ALL of my ammo(that's 1200 smg bullets, 90 sniper rifle bullets, and 150 revolver bullets) on him. I had to kill him with bloodwing(oh how he was useless) and my knife. It took a while and there was a lot of running involved but I did it.

Edit: Forgot a word.

Not really, since when I'm in real trouble, all I have to do is Phasewalk and get the Hell outta Dodge. ^_^

On February 23 a retail compilation of the first two DLCs will be released for PC and Xbox 360, but it isn't known if it will come out for the PS3. It is currently unknown whether or not it will be in the form of a disc or a code to download the DLC. Read more about it http://www.destructoid.com/borderlands-dlc-coming-to-a-store-near-you-160794.phtml

Now Gearbox is neglecting the PS3 instead of the PC? What are they, Bethesda wannabes?

Oh wait, that's just money.

Also does anybody else have trouble beating the arenas (first underdome quest) on singleplayer?

Which character are you running? If it's either of the flimsy ones then having trouble with it isn't uncommon.

Same. I'm on Mordecai. I haven't been able to beat The Gully. I got to Round 4 and then tanked.

I'm betting it's because mordecai is just so flimsy. Not to mention his special is pretty worthless. Only advice I can give is try to find a revolver that has something big going for it. Followed by an smg with a high magazine and fire rate.

Edit: Proximity Grenades and Sticky grenades work pretty well with mordecai too. Bouncing bettie's are also top notch in the arena's.

So far all we know is a level cap increase and it's gonna be a big dlc. Hopefully this is released along side the patch to fight the hackers and the modders.

They better add some more skills for the increased level cap, half of the skills on the characters aren't even worth taking.

I'm hoping they actually fix a lot of what makes brick the weakling in playthrough 2.5. Like his class mods. And his inn inability to regenerate rockets. Not to mention his inability to take hits. For a character who's supposed to be the tank and absorb damage, he's rather fragile. Also hoping they make bloodwing actually interesting and worthwhile. And add skills that focus on pvp.
