I must applaud you for you time and research. You have found the Golden Key to Skyrim. But, I must ask: what is the point in playing the game knowing well you will have no challenges, no difficulties, no rival?
With all the crafting exploits and loops present in the game you can logically rule out even playing the game. It's like starting off a basketball game with a 100 point lead and 5 extra players on the court. So, I must ask again: what is the point?
Ah! But you DON'T start off with a 100 point lead, my friend... armed with the knowledge in this thread, you make it possible to
eventually get a 100 point lead if you desire. This is what the crafting and perks template is for... it's a bare-bones minimum to achieve the maximum awesomeness that Skyrim has to offer. But none of us contribute to this thread with the goal of becoming overpowered to ruin our games. The fact is, some folks like playing a game as an overpowered character, and to them, being OP isn't ruining anything... it's what they want. Hell, if we wanted the fastest shortcut to power, we'd just type TGM into the console and be unkillable. No perks required.
HOWEVER
You might notice that we aren't doing this. We are working for our skillpoints, carefully planning where to put our hard-earned perks, and along the way as we discuss the pros and cons of various character builds, we have discovered that there is a great deal about the game that is not in the guides and wikis, or that said guides and wikis are flat out WRONG. A lot of perks are wastes (see: Weapon specialization perks, for example) or are unnecessary (overkilling the Shield Wall, Juggernaut, or Agile Defender Perks) depending upon what gear you choose to use... to me, knowing these things is a good idea ahead of time. We have unearthed a ton of game mechanics that were previously poorly understood or completely unknown.
Still don't see the point?
