Xbox 360 for me. My PC couldn't run FNV if my soul depended on it and I don't have the inclination to upgrade or replace it anytime soon. I mostly use my PS3 as a media server and to play exclusives as I can not stand the controller at all. Also, my experience with FO3GOTY on PS3 was a terrible one full of lock ups and corrupted saves.

I just find it funny you beating up on the PC while that is what you will be using to play with it.

I leave System Wars to come here for peace. Instead I get this.. Another System Wars.

Thats exactly what I was trying to avoid, Int3rNetz warz over systems again, my last thread managed to do this perfectly, following the same guideline, hmm.. all well,

XBox.......I'd love to have mods but I cannot afford a PC with the balls to run FO3, much less NV.

Kind of off-topic but how do you like the new Xbox? What it warrant a purchase of one? :tops:

Oh no, I haven't gotten it yet, I need to wait a couple of days for my next welfare check(?????) and then I'll purchase it.

I'm forced with the 360, sadly :/

My laptop can't handle anything as uber as New Vegas XDD It'll given the poor thing a motherboard-attack x-o

But hey, whoever said playing the console version was a terrible thing? XD I've been used to it so far ^-^

That may be true on most games, but i recently installed F3 Goty over Steam, even though my computer had better specs than my xbox it was often a slideshow, especially during battles. After trying a lot of unofficial patches and tweaks the only thing really helped was to revert back to a graphiccard driver (Nvidia) from early 2009. What a joke (for a game which is only two years old). Fiddiling 2-3 hours to get one game working isnt my cup of tea anymore.....

Interesting. Out of curiosity which GPU is it? I haven't had an issue like that with a game in at least 6 years or so.

Have used 360 and PC.......................I must say PC IS the BEST way to play this game :fallout:
Just for using and making mods alone not to mention, imo, the best way to navigate thru the game is with a keyboard and mouse.

It was a GT 8800, an forumthread somewhere mention to try an older driverversion and that was the only thing that worked for me.

I would play it on PC, but considering that Fallout 3 is impossible for me to play on PC...i think not :3
I hate you Fallout 3! Why won't you work!? :ahhh:

Just Cause 2 works perfectly! Why won't you!?

I'm starting off with a PS3, it's a solid console and hopefully the PS3 will get the DLCs at the same time as the other platforms unlike the FO3 DLCs.

I'm itching to build a gaming PC and I'd love to mod the bejeezus out of the FO3 GOTY and hopefully a future FONV GOTY, but for right now I'm going to enjoy the vanilla FONV on the PS3 when it comes out on 10/19... :fallout:
