Console planned playing NV on?

Post » Sat Feb 19, 2011 12:09 am

Wow. Surprisingly, there hasn't been too many people bashing here. I've seen quite a few snide comments though. Either way, it's kind of refreshing to see some civil people, for once.

For me: I'll be playing on the 360. I love the console. I have all of them, but that's the one I play.

Heh, if these were other boards, I could expect posts with superiority complexes and lotsa leetspeek..
Yay maturity! Good on yah, Beth Boards.

Was going to get it for PS3 since it was my only choice, but now with my free Xbox 360 Slim (250 GB), I will be getting it for the Xbox cause the game engine just runs better on Xbox than PS3, Fallout 3 with DLC on PS3 is a buggy/laggy mess.

If you played fallout on a console, then you haven't played fallout 3.

Well, I'll be using my PS3, because for me personally, I've been big on Playstation,2,and 3 because for me at least, they've been very reliable. Although if my PC was capable, I'd LOVE to play on PC, I've heard the graphics are superb on PC.

Not to mention the mods, Oh the mods!

If I could afford a great PC I'd play it on PC, but alas, I'm stuck with my Xbox 360.

PC, gimme da power!, both quality AND performance, and of course not forgetting the awsome mods that will be coming to this release, I was real glad to see a GECK is being released with F:NV, so glad I just pre-ordered the collectors edition!

well..id have to say 360..Im completely unbiased i have both consoles but my ps3 is broken due to hardware failure and my 360,which is even older is still running strong..It svcks because 70 percent of my games are on ps3 because i figured it was a better, more reliable console now it wont even turn on an red dead redemption is stuck in there..150 dollars to fix a manufactures problem.I still think ps3 is more reliable since i have 3 360s and over half get the red ring i guess i got the shaft but I tend to play all rpgs on xbox..Fallout 3 was way better on xbox..Didnt have to wait a year for dlc

I plan on playing New Vegas on my Xbox 360.

Although I am a mainly PlayStation 3 gamer I just thought Fallout 3 ran a lot better on the Xbox 360 than the PlayStation 3 (and this was like a good 9 months after I played Fallout 3 to death on my PS3.) I'll be picking up the Collector's Edition for the Xbox 360 when it releases :)

Playing a Bethesda RPG on a console is a bit like buying a snow mobile when you live in Hawaii. Sure it works, but you don't get that much out of it :P There are genres that i prefer on my consoles, but first person ...whatevers are not one of them (except Metroid Prime 1&2, those were excellent first person whatevers :goodjob:).

Thus my PC is the platform of my choice, and seeing how much of the Fallout 3 modding community has been planning on moving to NV, it's a no brainer with my available systems.

I thought it was the other way around. That playing a Bethesda RPG on PC is like buying rollerskis in winter, they work but are clumsy until you remove the rollers and make them proper skis. :P

The only reason not to play this game on a PC is not having a good one.
