Console planned playing NV on?

Post » Sat Feb 19, 2011 6:40 am

Hey guys, I know that I did a thread like this for fallout 3, so I figured I'd do one for new vegas too! Which console do you prefer to play on? And which one are going to be playing New Vegas on? PC, Xbox 360, or Playstation 3? Also post why once you're done voting :D

PC is usually the way to go, but I like the portability of my 360. Also a controller is usually more accessible, so I can introduce more people to the series if I have it on a console.

I'll buy for the Xbox360 initially but as I did for Fallout 3 I'll most likely buy this one for the PC as well, Mods are just too awesome to pass up for anything Fallout. :tops:

Personally I find the Ps3 the most reliable console. But to each their own I suppose.

PC isnt a console its a platform, but thats what I will be playing on. Better graphics, mods, and better stability then the consoles.

I know that its a platform, but do you know how akward it would be to have incorperated that into the threat title and the poll titles?

Love how you couldn't of just left it at your first reply haha! Had to get on the ol' pedestal and edit this last bit in.

Well I wanted to give a reason. Dont get me wrong, I like my 360s fine. But I personally prefer my PC over them.

With OB and FO3 I bought the PS3 version and waited until they released the GOTY version to buy that for the PC. So I 'll do the same with FO NV, since by then it's already patched up and with a decent amount of awesome mods :flamethrower:

I would say PS3 all the way, but in all honesty I would just get bored doing the same thing over and over. I really wanna play it on PC because of the addition of mods, adding countless amount of hours of replay value, but, I don't feel like funding a computer for the game.

PC. PC, PC, PC. Modding is the reason why. And I still like my shooter gameplay with keyboard and mouse, thank you very much. ^_^

It would not be too hard to get a PC that runs Fallout 3 in greatest detail at a decent resolution for about 600 bucks. So I would say that also will apply to NV. You're buying for the future, after all. ^_^

At first I was going to buy NV for my PS3, but then I remembered...MODS! So I switched my pre-order to a PC version. Also, better graphics.

Xbox 360. I would get it for the PC, but I am not shelling out a few hundred bucks to "update" my computer.

I got 360 because I don't have a gaming PC. I have a Mac, so it doesn't even matter. People always laud their gaming rigs, but honestly, it's not worth it. I do actual work on my computer (and a lot of goofing off too). I'd rather just keep the gaming on my trusty 360. Might save up some money later and get a Slim.

I feel exactly the same way. If I was offered a free gaming computer I'd use it but I'm not going to spend upwards of 500 bucks when an xbox 360 is only 200 and the only "upgrades" are needed about once every 6 or 7 years.
