Titanite demon down in one go. I had only 1 potion left too, so it was relatively close. I'll proceed onwards after a short break.

Edit
How do I summon the extra guy?

Edit2
Yea, no master key. I took witches amulet.

God. If there's one thing that makes me rage in DKS it's the titanite demons. The enemy isn't actually very hard, but as you progress and run into more of them, they are placed in worse and worse and worse environments (that make the fight tough).

The 'extra' guy is either Knight Solaire or Knight Lautrec of Carim. These are NPCs you can find in the game and, among others, can be summoned to help with certain bosses (it's a way of making sure offline guys can get help, too).

Considering I managed to mostly beat him in the dead center of the room with all of those obstacles, I think I can handle it. I didn't even use much room truth be told.

Don't get cocky. That room is very open, especially compared to the ones where you'll be encountering more Titanite Demons in the future.

The thing about Titanite Demons that you may not have experienced is that they can jump. Either to get away from you, or as an attack, and it's very difficult to tell which one they're pulling when they do, or predict when it's going to happen.

Yea had it happen to me a few times, it wasn't a problem. I think he got me once like that I got stuck in an area with a fallen pillar thing and the wall. I took a lot of damage there. Still I mostly just did laps around him in the dead center of the room. I don't think I used any more then 40-50% of the available space.

Edit
Trust me when I say my Monster Hunter skills have gotten me very far. Imagine fighting in that small room with something moving 150% faster that you have to fight in only 50 minutes. It can easily leap the entire room and cause half of your health to die. It then bezerks and runs around at 200% AND it can one hit kill you unless you happen to have almost full health. Then just as your making progress a second one shows up. Good luck.

Edit
It can roar and stun you while the other one is still running around.

Edit
Playing this game is giving me the call of the hunt again. I wish they would continue the series in the west already, it's been so very long.

Kudos to you! I always went with the pendant ... it's supposed to reveal more story, but I never got it to work. Ended up trading it to Snugly for a Souvenir of Reprisal because farming the harpies in the painted world svckS. (You need 10 of them to earn a secret miracle, from a secret coven) Anyway, you'll be able to speak with the leader of the Chaos coven.... assuming you can find her

I never bothered with the demon before killing Quelaag, so I always had an incredibly easy time with him. But as the other posters have mentioned, the really tough ones are in areas where you can be insta-killed with a pit-fall. I never was... but it's so damn heart wrenching... Getting pushed RIGHT up to the edge always made me grip the controller EXTRA hard and take a DEEP breath.

Screw the forest and head on down to blight town! However, if you decide to keep on playing and kill the butterfly, be sure you summon Beatrice. IF you summon her, and win, she will be available later on for a MUCH MUCH more difficult fight, later on.

*is very excited for you to get to Sen's Fortress, and Anor Londo. I can't wait to hear what you think of Smoug-en-Stein.
Also, be sure to talk to "Sir Onion" (Siegmeyer) before you open the way to Sen's Fortress. If you don't he will vanish, and you'll miss out on one of the super-rare items.

Yea sometimes in Monster Hunter there are conditions in the zone like constantly lose health unless you have x potion. Or sometimes monsters have that affect in a large area. So your always being drained no matter what. Instead death pit kinda svcks, but is more or less static. It isn't moving to kill you.

Also I was just killing the demon for fun. I'm actually going down to ring the other bell. Just have to find how to get to it.
