Want a chance to play Dawnguard early? Following the success of our PC beta updates, we're excited to announce our Dawnguard Beta for Xbox 360.

Visit http://beta.elderscrolls.com/ to apply. The process should only take a couple minutes, but make sure to fill out all the information accurately. Applicants need a http://www.gamesas.com/ and you'll want to make sure your forum email address is updated.

We will be selecting applicants in about a week. Players accepted into the beta will receive an Xbox LIVE code to redeem Dawnguard. The beta is the full version (complete with Xbox LIVE achievements) and those participating will not have to purchase the content.

Thanks again for your continued support of Skyrim!

NOTE: If you accidentally signed up for the beta before joining the forum, you may want to sign up for the Beta again using the same email address, which will delete your previous entry and replace it with the new one.

I have a quick question. Once the beta comes out will we be able to ask beta testers certain questions about what's in the DLC? In other words, won't we find out all about this add-on? I'll probably have to stay away from the forums for a while to make sure I don't read a ton of spoilers.

I would think there would be a forum for just those beta testers to report bugs and all that good stuff.

For some reason I don't understand how they enforce the NDA. I won't utter a word about the DLC if I get in, though how do they know you have said something?

I have a question, if the beta corrupts saves. Should I make backup saves on the cloud storage and/or on a USB?

I use Cloud for my backups, but I don't know if DLCs on the hard drive, works with saves on Cloud.

I plan on starting a save right before I go on the quest, so that when it comes out I have a fresh start.

No. By signing up you signed a Non-Disclosure Agreement. Leak info and get sued.

Yeah, I heard there's supposed to be a private forum for beta testers only.

Only makes sense. Al the beta tests I have been in have done that.

They did it for the Battlefield beta, though that was open to all.

Wow.

It would seem to me that info will inevitably leak out though.
