Post » Sat Jun 16, 2012 9:49 am

It has been announced that the Beta was US ONLY!!!!! not, they're never gonna tell us.

*sigh* When I quoted this I saw the sneaky bit you put into black. So I made it green...

Thought I'd try a little joke. It's true though, doubt they'll ever tell us.

No, no, not a second thread. Allow me to wallow in my sorrow in peace.

I think that triple-assonance just made me win life. Allow...wallow...sorrow...mmmmmmm YUMMY!

Ok, this didn't start as "Dawnguard Beta Rejection Group Thread #2", it started as "Get over it..." I'm Guessing a moderator changed the thread name...

It was about people getting over not being in the beta, and what people are gonna do in order to achieve this... as opposed to being a discussion about simply not being in the beta

Not cool, man. Not cool...

I don't think there is much point in people wallowing over this. The most played Skyrim platform wasn't even included in the pool (probably because if they did the DLC would probably be leaked onto the internet almost instantly).

The entire "beta" reeks of a marketing/publicity scheme.

I didn't get in (obviously as I'd be playing/drooling over it now instead of writing this post) and was sobbing into my Dovahkiin teddy bear until I realised, this would give me the perfect opportunity to make a Van Helsing type character!

2 weeks Vampires! Get ready. I'm coming for ya! :gun:

Gonna keep playing Skyrim
Watch stuff on Netflix
Wait for Anime
Make Creeper hat
Make Creeper plush
Order more Saturday
Sculpt
Follow Twitter to see when my copy of School Days HQ CE ships
If anime/s arrive before release of dawnguard watch that
Save up on last saturday to get some MS points to get Dawnguard with

Basically in that order

What the hell do i care for a beta for Dawnguard for? I'm still dealing with the Skyrim beta I already bought.

At 1.6 now, so hopefully it'll be release ready at 2.0.

Put Skyrim back on the ol' shelf until the 26th, and continue playing Dragon's Dogma.

I suppose I'll have to play BF3 till the DLC comes out.... I figure I should take a two-week break from Skyrim so as to build up anticipation for Dawnguard.

Skrew not getting into the BETA!!! I'm hacking BETHESDA to get my own key!!! muahahaha

I doubt it. I expect the same thing will happen. They won't announce US only so everyone still thinks they have a chance whilst picking only Americans.

It was marketing at the end of the day and it was successful. It isn't like they're going to fix any bugs looking at the people they chose. Some layman picked tried posting about the beta in the general discussion if you didn't see. on Bethesda's behalf.

I agree, they should only have chosen trusted forum members
That wouldn't have included me, but it would have been the right thing to do
Well, what's done is done

Did you see the post. If people who got picked are like that we have no chance of a bugfree game.
