Dawnguard Beta Rejection Group Thread #2

Post » Sat Jun 16, 2012 8:37 am

Ok, so this is a thread for everyone who didn't get into the beta... keep on the positive side.

What are you going to do now?

I'm gonna keep playing Skyrim, as I was before I heard about the beta, get MS points in preparation, go on holiday, then buy and play it after I get back.

Right now I'm working on my 2nd character. I'm turing her into a melee battle mage.

Probably trade the game in. The latest 1.6 patch destroyed my 500 + hours saves. The thing the devs are worried about is pushing Dlc down or throats

Remember to delete your forum account too lest you become a zombie troll.

On a - more serious note. What platform are you on? I am sure if you are on a console they are aware of the problem and a fix is enroute- if on PC your broken game is likely user error. So sit tight- Or be a farty pants and return your game.

Why not just do Oghma Infinium glitch? I lost some of my saves to bloat and corruption( :shakehead: ). And the Oghma Infinium glitch helped me get back up there. No need to trade it in.

That won't bring back all the quests he's completed in the way he completed them and all the unique items he's collected. I know the crushing feeling of losing several hundered hours of gameplay and I myself am not looking forward to doing it all over again, I liked my old save.

However your glitch really doesn't seem that bad, just use magic and melee weapons, I certainly wouldn't start all over again simply because I couldn't use bows, I'd wait for a fix.. I had to restart as I was getting lockups every 5 minutes and I just couldn't enjoy the game anymore.

Oh trust me I've been there. Lost 2, well 3(thanks to the new patch) characters so far. So I'm forced to start a new character. My current high elf is now level 21.

I never understood guards saying that. Maybe random town NPC being afraid or knowing I understand. But what is the logic of revealing you know who they are? They're murderers who like secrets... time to silence a few voices eh?

Roleplay wise i've assassinated every guard that has said it to my Dark Brotherhood character

I hate that to. The only thing I can think of is that they are contacts that the Brotherhood uses to get their people out of jail and for inside information. Or they could even be Brotherhood members. Instaed of them working as assassintions they work to get information.

Are people really that upset about not getting into the beta?! Upset enough that somebody needs to tell them to "get over it"?
