Dawnguard Beta Rejection Support Group

Was that just from their attitude, or were people actually barred from entry once they realised they were twelve years old?
In the beta discussion thread, there were some people saying about how a child had got the code and was posting on another forum about how they couldnt play because their parents had gone to bed and they couldnt put the code in or something..... You probably didnt notice, as you were dancing headless on a hypetrain..... :D

*sobs*

There was the hype-train. Does anybody remember it? It moved like lightning, and everybody inside was whooping and cheering as it got closer and closer to the tunnel. When there was a block just inside the tunnel, they all got thrown from their seats and disappointment reaped a blood toll on the excited gamers.

I was standing on the top of the hype-train, screaming and dancing. So when the tunnel came it took my head clean off instead of just throwing me from my seat. *sobs*

And the worst part is, that final 25% got the whole train started again! My decapitated body still danced wildly on top of the broken wreckage of the original hype-train, even as the second train ran me over and splattered my enthusiasm across the tracks of despair.

Anybody else want to join in with making sorrowful metaphors describing their predicament?

They honestly should just let the beta testers test for a week, see if there is any huge issues, if not then just allow people to purchase the beta... they would likley get far better results of people reporting bugs than what they got now for the amount of people they choose.

Ok, calmed down (again). Let us join our hands together in the praise of our mighty lord Akatosh, our communal blood father.

*tries to meditate*

Aww [censored] it, now I've gone and made Akatosh look like some kind of dragon-prosttute. And Talos is a no-go as well... he did *not* come off well in the divorce.

I don't like Akatosh, his son tried to devour the world.

Hence why you have the choice of buying into a beta or waiting for official release, some game companies do this all the time... & many people would buy this. Some have already asked for it.

Yea but how many of those players also have a forum account and knew about the beta sign-up and were also old enough.
Well since you can create a forum account for free in like 10 seconds, I don't think that would be an issue. And as of age, I'd say that at least 60-75% are above the age of 18. That still leaves a LOT of people to apply. And they would only pick a few hundred.

I'm more disappointed in not getting in because now I have to spend $20 on a game I already paid $60 for! This Dawngaurd DLC better live up to every single microsoft point out of the 1,600 I paid for it!

But how many of them still play and have Skyrim and can be bothered to get a beta early whilst they would have to regularly report bugs and play the game.

Really? It's called DLC, and Skyrim is one of the few games out there that is worth your $60... and yet people still complain.
