Dawnguard - a huge flaw in the bad guys' plan...

the sun does not give off heat and plants do not need it to survive in TES (it is actually a hole that leads to atherius and gives off magic energy for mages to use). 'course, that is just speculation, the only thing i know for sure is that it gives off mana and leads to atherius so i could be wrong about the plants and heat part (in fact, i probably am wrong, but there is a chance im right)

Ha Ha! Yes. From your point of view, maybe not.

But Bethesda made it more or less like the Civil War vs the Empire with both sides having different morals.

There's nothing very "moral" about blotting out the sun, and condemning millions of people to starvation, and being fed upon. Honestly whenever you try to defend the nosferatus your only arguments are "it's OK if a wolf eats their prey, so it's OK for vampires.", or "Evil is just a point of view".

Also there's the fact that they worship/came from Molag Bal. The Lord of [censored], and domination. Is he misunderstood too?

Molag Bal is a Daedra, which cannot be classified as evil. They represent what they manifest. Hircine is the manifestion of the hunt, Molag Bal is domination. People are who label Daedra as "evil" or "bad guys". And your arguments are always about "Oh, vampires are abominations because they eat people. Oh, evil is evil because people decided what is evil and what is not."

Please, all that "ultimate bad guyzz" stuff doesn't need to be in the Elder Scrolls. Its subjective. I won't discuss any further.

They are editing the sun to create a hospitable sun for vampires, not destroy it, watch the trailer and read the forum carefully.

This. They wouldn't squander the power of the Elder Scrolls just to destroy the sun. Merely change its hue and luminosity to give the Vampires full reign and full power during the day as well as night.

It occurred to me that if the vampires succeed in blotting out the sun, all the plantlife will die, and everything else will eventually starve, leaving them with nothing to feed on. That's if the planet doesn't freeze solid first.

They really didn't think this through, did they?
Light still get's through to Skyrim it's just that they blot out the sun that they can't survive with and they create an artifical red sun to create light for plants and things but they won't get injured in the sunlight anymore as in the trailer you see it doesn't go completely dark. The world just dims like it dose near sunset.
