Dead Money coming to PS3, PC

When it says add on packs it may mean some additions to the Mojave, like spawns, patrols and higher level enemies

Possibly, a DLC or an Expansion pack is an 'add on'

Well that's a surprise. I love it when every prediction I make turns out to be wrong. xD

Anyway, great news. I do very much hope they will be releasing the next DLC pretty soon.

Good. No more complaining threads. Now we'll have threads for the love/hate of Dead Money from non-360 users, and more speculations as to when the next three DLC's will be out. As far as the debate for the number of DLC's that will be out for NV, I am going with the 4 crowd on this one. 8 sounds cool, but I doubt there will be more DLC after Skyrim makes its appearance as a playable game.

Anyone agree with me that it's surprising they already announced how many DLC packs they will be releasing? I can't remember Beth doing that on FO3.

Fallout 3 have DLC only for XBOX360 and PC

Months later, PS3 users got the DLC

Now, the same thing is happening with Dead Money

So, yeah, I knew that the exclusivty thing isnt true

After holding my peace for weeks, I finally opened up earlier today about how I thought it would be a long time before the DLCs made it to PC and PS3, and then this thread came along. :ermm:

Just proves the old adage once again -

"Better to remain silent and be thought a fool, than to open your mouth and remove all doubt."

You obviously don't understand how forums work, if people followed that this place would be a ghost town :D

They must have taken a lot of heat for the Dead Money excusive, nice to know they learned from that experiance :)

When Bethesda announced the exclusivity deal they made a point of saying it was only for this DLC, I wouldn't be at all surprised if they planned on multi-platform releases for the others from the start.

I remember reading specifically "Exclusive" in Dead Money's X360 announcement. No "timed exclusive", just "Exclusive".

And now look.... "Oh! Just kidding! It's not exclusive!" I am not amused.

Beth has sold the good will of the PC and PS3 community for Microsoft http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Embrace_extend_extinguish money.

It was exclusive at that time so that was the truth. Now it is no longer exclusive. They said it was exclusive to make it sound more formal (and probably to get more people playing xbox). Since at that time it was true they are allowed to list it as such in their ads.

It was a half-truth at best. There is such a thing called a 'lie of omission'.

The truth is in the eye of the beholder. Omitting facts doesn't necessarily amount to a lie, although it's not exactly considered forthcoming.

Money which will return to you as a better Skyrim and FO4. Think on that. That's how business is.

That's how an anticompetetive business is. They shouldn't be taking Microsoft's http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Embrace_extend_extinguish money to begin with.

And it'll make a "better Skyrim or FO4"... in which they'll again dismissively release timed exclusives on the X360 dressing them up as permanent exclusives, and then go "Ha, just kidding".

Is any other 360 player frustrated with this news?
NOT PS3 players finally getting their DLC, I'm totally cool with that, but that all future releases will be at the same time?
I'm saying it looks like it could be April before we get an announcement for the 2nd DLC..
This makes the exclusivity agreement kind of pointless.. (not that I'm advocating it, I'm just saying what was the point of doing it to begin with then?)
They should just put each system on their own timeline..(with the PS3 being on a quicker one, of course, until they catch up with 360..)

Waiting 5-6 months between 2 DLCs is kind of absurd.
Two "wrongs" don't make a right, which, in this case, "wrongs" meaning business decisions.
You tick of one portion of your fanbase, so you decide to balance it by ticking off the other?
360 players weren't what made PS3 owners mad when you announced the exclusivity deal (well the elitist console fan-boy freaks were, but that wasn't really an issue on these forums)... YOU were.
Now your just irking the other portion of your fanbase. You made your choice, so stick with it.

hmmm complaints disappearing from forum hmmm :nope:

This is a good thing and maybe a bad thing depending on your point of view. If its like dead money then more arcade game. game within a game. with no effects to the main game. Actually most DLC for fallout were arcade. Not allot changed in the main game because of what you did there.

I will most likely buy them, but never really understood the point of a arcade style of DLC when it has no effect on the main game.

Are you complaining about them making it a timed exclusive as many of us had thought?

Goodness, people these days..

Ah lovely. Xbox fans finally came up with a negative argument.

I'm pretty sure we won't wait til April for the next one. They're developing DLC's simultaneously as far as I know. And do shut up, PC and PS3 waited for something longer than you did. Not like we'll get the second one before you do.

Just because DLC's are being released simutaniously doesn't mean they are pushing the release dates further out, jesus Carolina.
