Dead Money coming to PS3, PC

Post » Fri May 27, 2011 12:53 pm

Just posted on the blog news about Dead Money coming to PS3 and PC. The next three DLCs will then come out simultaneously on all three platforms.
This morning we’ve announced that Dead Money, the first game add-on for Fallout: New Vegas, is coming to PlayStation 3 (via PSN) and PC (via Steam and Direct2Drive) on Tuesday, February 22nd. Additionally, we will be releasing three additional add-on packs in the coming months. These packs will launch simultaneously on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC.

More details to come.

Good to know that Dead Money is finally coming to the rest of us, some of whom have been impatiently waiting on. It's also good to know that the decisions that were made regarding the release of Dead Money aren't going to be repeated.

About time, My only concern is the bugs that are present in the 360 version of Dead Money. I hope a patch comes out that can correct those mistakes before the PS3 and PC get their versions.

The mistake was not releasing it for all platforms at the same time. The rest of us deserve to have the DLC too, you know.

After holding my peace for weeks, I finally opened up earlier today about how I thought it would be a long time before the DLCs made it to PC and PS3, and then this thread came along. :ermm:

Honestly, I'm happy with 4 DLCs. 8 is pretty much just saying "HA! You bought only a fraction of the game, you have to pay for the rest!"

To be fair, it may just be that they have not have annouced them yet.

I seriously doubt there will be eight, Obsidian isn't as large as Bethesda and they only developed five. I'm honestly surprised that anyone bought that rumor in the first place; I mean how reliable is an anonymous source claiming to have a close relationship to Bethesda? Four is more reasonable than eight.

When it says add on packs it may mean some additions to the Mojave, like spawns, patrols and higher level enemies
