Just posted on the blog news about Dead Money coming to PS3 and PC. The next three DLCs will then come out simultaneously on all three platforms.

Thanks.

I suspect Bethesda actually listened to their customers and may have returned the money Microsoft paid them.

I think the Australian Aborigines usually need to go "walk about" before they enter such a dream state.

They also go with hugh jackman and call step-moms "boss-lady".

I'm curious, whats the price of this DLC going to be? I mean I dont see it on steam yet and no store website has it listed not even for consoles. Hopefully it will be released on a disk for pc and not be over $20 in any case.

Really $10? That is worth it in my book especially if its a hard copy.

Lord_Kaln, yep im glad its so close to coming out but I prefer a hard copy of something like this. I am also wondering since the price is so cheap if its a short DLC

My only concern with digital versions is that if I get another computer and move my steam account, might give me some crap about how I cant down load it. Some games have a limit of how many times you can download it which I think is a bunch of bs since you paid for the game. Then theres the issue I have of would I still be able to get the game 5 or 10 years from now if I need to redownload it.

I do, do digital downloads if their cheap but I dont care too much for them out of fear that in 5 years time I might want to play it again but oh cant download it anymore cause they dont offer it or something.

But I got Joes adventures as well as the vegas DLC for Mafia II through steam for $12, then for $14 the other day I got Ship Simulator Extremes which is fun, so I will probably get this through steam too if the price is right. Just prefer having a disk if its a game I really enjoy so I can play it down the line.

There's no limit on Steam, as long as you use the same account. You can download to as many computers as you want.

I'm on PC and can't wait to finally be able to play Dead Money. I know very little about it and would like
to keep it that way until I start to play it. I do however have one question - after completing all quests,
will I be able to go back and explore the area(s)? Please, no spoilers...yes/no will do fine, thanks!

No.
But, mild spoiler:
Spoiler
You can remain in the area after the quest is completed and explore. Once you leave the gates you are done.

Err.... (trying not to spoil) There will be storage opportunities. I wouldn't worry about traveling light, except perhaps when you start the DLC. Later, there will be much trudging and sorting. Trust me on this.

Then again:
Spoiler
Someone is sure to release a mod to "fix" that. It'll probably be out on day one.

Thanks, but I never use those... I like to hoard, though -
Spoiler
should I be worried about not being able to bring back all the stuff I want to keep?

Spoiler
No. There is a safe container right by the DLC exit. When you decide to leave you will be transported to another area with safe containers (use the metal boxes, not the trunks). The amount of time you are forced to travel over-encumbered is relatively short. Take everything you want.

Now, a slightly bigger spoiler. You may wish to skip this one. It concerns wealth.
Spoiler
Don't forget the Wasteland value of prewar money! You can walk out of this DLC with practically endless, weightless wealth. Honestly, it's all you'll ever need.

Thanks again for the info! :)
Spoiler
I have gaming OCD (hey, I really am diagnosed with mild OCD so I should be allowed to make fun of myself) so I can't leave anything behind that's worth 10 caps or more :P But I'll guess I'll be okay!

Edit:
Spoiler
Will all areas of the DLC be replayable as long as I stay in the DLC? Hope it doesn't pull a Zeta?

Spoiler
You cannot revisit the final location, but as far as I know everything else is accessible.

Have fun with the DLC. It has a philosophy that discourages hoarding, so of course it rewards hoarders.
It can be frustrating but it's rewarding once you successfully finish.
