did you buy a 360 just for Skyrim?

Its kinda common sense PC will always be better then Consoles. The thing is,the price for getting a good one,or learning how to build one. Both put off many people from even bothering, not to mention compatibility issues with drivers, errors, crashes, etc. The good thing is,well, better graphics and mods. Thats pretty much it.

The problem is the PC Elite people going "HURRR DURRR DUHHH PC IS ALWAYS BETTER,THAT PIECE OF CRAP XBOX AND PS3 AINT GOT NOTHING ON MY QUAD CORE DUAL GIGGA HURTZ GT X W BLAH BLAH BLAH" Those are the kind of people that make PC users look like dumb idiots full of themselves with nothing better to do then brag about their tech or say pointless comments.

Well i think that console players are simple lazy. You dont even know how your xbox works. Thats fine for you but i want to know what is happening and i want to know what my property is doing. Same thing with a car or a mobile/smartphone. But maybe i am an other generation. Kids have no fun in finding out how something is working. Just make it colourfull and easy. And for the compatibillity issues .. there are none since win 7. My pc is far from up to date but is working fine. and i have no truobles at all. Its running 24/7 since september and there i only rebooted it because i needed to clean it :)! I dont say that the xbox is crap i own one myself for my dynasty warrior games (which are console exclusive). But the pc is in fact superior - always!

HAHAHAHAHA - no.

Even my 6 year old PC can run Skyrim on medium, I dont see why anyone would want to switch to consoles.

Why a 360 over a PC or a ps3?

PS3 have very good PS3 exclusive titels. But every game that is multi platform, the PS3 will always, and have always, been worse.
And thats cause its base hardware is alot worse then the Xbox. Xbox GPU, video card, is more then twice as strong as the PS3.
What the PS3 have, is a very complex CPU however, and with correct programming you can get some pretty amazing results with it.
The problem with that is, you need to focus that on the PS3.

Most cross games just touch what the PS3 can do due to complications and time.
PS3 can attain higher quality, by a margain, on exclusive titels, but fall away on every mutli platform. This is common knowledge and confirmed even within the PS3 community.
So, especially for Skyrim, you should buy it on Xbox and not on PS3.
You buy a PS3 only for PS3 exclusives and nothing else. You are better off having an Xbox if you want to play games in general.

For skyrim: Xbox have twice frame rate then PS3, as with most games, and the known bug on PS3 alone should keep players away from that console, alhough its being addressed in this patch.

PC although its great and all, the Console offers a different game experience the PC can never touch.
Not to mention the bugs and other issues.
Most bugs encountered in Skyrim is from PC users.
I have played 120 hours of Skyrim on the Xbox without a single glitch. Not one. No arrows stuck, no flying animals etc. I just dont have it.

I was an ONLY PC player until 1.5 years ago. I refused to get an xbox.

What caught my attention was Red Dead Redemption.

And honestly, I was going to buy a PS3. But since a few of my friends have xbox, I thought it more practical.
First, I am really happy I did not get a PS3 due to the reason 99% of the games I play are multi platforms and I have seen with my own eyes the difference.
PS3 is a great console, but Xbox is better, for multi platform games. Xbox exclusives I dont give much for tbh, PS3 have better exclusive titels.

Anyway, point it, Gaming on console is so much better then on a PC and you will never understand until you sit back, put on your 40-60 inch HD TV and learn how to use the hand control.

There are no issues, no crashes, in general atleast, no need to reinstall windows or update drivers.
You plug in and you play, and a 6 years old console have still visuals that are 80% of modern PCs.
Its not bad.

Last but not least: There are more then 10 times console users then PC users.
Just face the fact that the PCs will live with ports in the future, IF they get them at all.
Business is business and the big buisness lies in making games that are great on PS3 and Xbox360 for now, and whatever consoles comes later.

MW2 sold 7 times as many copies on Console as on PC.

PC users needs to understand that its a platform only for MMOs today, all other games are made better on consoles, and are sold immensly more.

Xbox is running Skyrim on High. FYI.

My PC can run Ultra ultra.
I have skyrim for both.

Skyrim is so much better on Console.

I dont see much difference on console when running my PC on Ultra more then shadows and draw distance, thats it really.

Console will beat you by miles if you have a 6 year old PC.
Since when Xbox came out, it took one year before the best pcs available, after a year, could match its graphics.
3 years ago the above average gaming PC had same standards as todays Xbox. And Xbox is 6 years old.

Like i said games will be console only but only from big companies. Students and other geeks will again begin to make their own games exclusive for the pc. It is starting - there are games for pc only. They are maybe not that graphical impressive but storywise they are epic ;)

Really?? Because it is cheaper to buy a 360. Then to buy a PC that can run these newer games. No not everyone can build one themselves for cheap or even knows someone who can. That is usually the PC elitist answer to everything....Just go buy one, sorry not everyone can afford it. Also some some people prefer 360 over PS3.....Too each his or her own I guess.
How about not getting defensive over something not directed at you. Yes a 360 is cheaper IF you don't play online if you do then it's not seeing as the cheapest 360 at walmart is $199 and the cheapest PS3 is $249, and hell if you want you can spend $30 extra and get 3 game and a controller with it.

Also why is everyone else answering for the OP i asked them to see what they were gonna say not the other "360 iz teh best" or "PS3 iz leet" or the "PC master race" crap.

Honestly its everyone's personal opinion. I love my gaming pc but I'd much prefer to be sat in the living room playing with a controller than in my office trying to mess around with a keyboard and mouse, When it comes to PS3, yes it has better hardware but when you look at it all round the Xbox offers more entertainment features. If you ask me the money you pay every year for Xbox Live is worth it as you know it goes towards getting exclusives and improving the system. Also I agree that if developers used the PS3's hardware to its full potential it would be a much better system, hopefully one day it will happen.

Console gamer since the Intellivision days and I disagree. I have a 60'' Samsung and I still prefer gaming on a PC. I play RTS games and that's not possible with a standard controller. Also a game like Shogun could never run on current consoles.

its already under development. And the consoles that will come out, the pure next generation consoles, will have hardware that PCs cant match until some time later and only the most and extremly expensive sorts.
I am not even sure such hardware will be on the PC.

Remember that microsoft especially is also developing DirectX. They work closely with Intel and AMD.
Im pretty sure they will ensure they get hardware that wont be on the PC market for atleast a year, to get even more buyers for console.

I dont mind, Consoles is the way to game on anyway.

And for the ones talking about PC only, community type games, such as Indie Games.
On Xbox Live you even have a specific area where you can download Indie games only.
There are ALOT more smaller and Indie games titels available on the Xbox then on the PC. Available that is, meaning, they show you to them and market them, not like on the PC you need to find them in a dark dungeon Forum somewhere.

Im an avid PC user but the PC users "hate" on consoles are so far from reality.
Get a console and use it for a while, with some friends etc. And realize how easy it is.

I refused for many years to get a console and laughed at its graphics.
Until I got one myself.
And I was blown away how such "old" hardware could look as good as my PCs more modern hardware in graphics.

Get of the high PC pedestal and realize that games are better on consoles, easier to access and ALOT easier to play with friends.
Who cares if the current graphics can not be top notch, I dont honestly. But you need a PC that is from the last 2 years to be able to beat the best looking modern console games.

360 for Skyrim? Really? You bought a console for a TES game? You know, the game series which officially support modding so there's a huge amount of quaility content made by the community. For PC only. And you bought a 360 for it? WHY? What kind of evil sorcery made you do this?

Not only is the series famous for the mods, it's also an FPP game so it's going to be garbage on the pad.

Did you not play Oblivion with mods? It added a whole new lease of life to the game. Not to mention I have already started several different characters in Skyrim, and I am far from finishing every quest.
