Does anyone that bought it on release still play Skyrim?

Post » Wed Jun 13, 2012 1:00 pm

The question is in the title.
I haven't played it since new years eve i think. How about you other guys?
I am officially saying that this game is.... Boring. Never thought i'd say that, but i did.
So, tell me, how do you feel about Skyrim now this long after the release?

When I get bored I just play a different game for a while. That's what I did last time and now I'm interested again.

Didn't get it until Xmas but I've put in over 1100 hours now and I'm still enjoying it.
End of May onwards I'll be playing a lot less as I'm starting a course but until then I anticipate I'll still be playing it a lot.

Bought it on release day, played over 300 hours then, in 2 playthroughs, came back after new year, did another as another race and I have just finished another. I think it's great, I agree compared to Morrowind, not so much, but in comparison to most modern console games, it's as good as it gets for us.

Aftyer about 2 weeks i put it down for other games. Like old republic, mass effect and amalur, but mass effect is the only game ive beaten recently, in the past month i jumped on skyrim and loved it again. I just stop sometimes, and it feels fresh if i pace the game. Waiting for kinect and dlc to play some more :P

Skyrim is the perfect game. i've taken a little break as i wanted to see if Morrowind was as good as everyone says. it's a good game but it's not better then Skyrim IMO. i haven't beaten the MQ of Morrowind and i'm working on a big mod right now but i'll be back.

Yes. But, as with most games, I'm playing it again, not still. I played it for a month or two, "finished" that character, then moved on to other games. I came back to it again in the last month, playing a new character with several mods that I wanted to try. When I'm "done" (or, when DIablo 3 comes out in three weeks), I'll stop again.

Then, in a few months, I'll come back to it again, with another different character, and some new mods (and possibly DLC). That's the same way I've played Oblivion and Fallout 3. Play them for a time, move on to something else, then come back to them.

I'm still here. There were breaks for others, but that proved to be disappointing, after a few minutes. So, I return to Skyrim. The mods that are being released, are amazing. The truly epic ones are coming, so I doubt I'll be going anywhere soon. DLC or not.

Yep, still not done all the questlines. On my third character, must be 180 hours in at this point - she's an assassin, so I can do the stealth/evil quests.

I played until Dec 20th, then was involved with SWTOR as I waited for the CK to come out and better mods to come out.

Came back early March and still hooked...though some of the bugs are starting to get annoying. Have over 330 hours total across all characters...

havent touched it since beginning of febuary. By that time ive done all I can in the game and quite a bit I dreaded doing the second and thrid time having to always do it one way. Fun game, but ya grew bored with it. If I didnt go in this game thinking bethesda was mixed between what made fo 3 fun and what they did great in fonv, id problemly enjoy it more. But alasit wasnt but it was fun. Tried out morrowind with the overhaul graphics mod and found my perfect balance of incredible sandbox and story without having to sacrifise either. Ill be back after I finish morrowind and its expansions then oblivion and shimmerring isles. I have finally learnd my lesson of just buying stuff day one.

I'm waiting for DLC/Kinect support to come out. I started replaying FONV and ACII about 2 months ago, and haven't touched Skyrim.

I am still playing it, and have been since day 1. However, now I am alternating it with Demons Souls!

I'm playing 'Creation Kit'. Does that count :)?

I'll be going back to playing the game eventually, with a new character and doing different major side-quests.

I still play.
Mods help keep things lively, and i am in a constant quest to make a better spellsword than my last iteration.

Did i mention i like spellswords? I know alot about spellswords.. :)

Or maybe its called a nightblade here. Whichever.

I still play quite a bit, although a good part of that is testing a mod I'm working on.
