You guys programmed the user interface, if I understand the credits correctly, right?
As you guys at Beth are working through this 1.4 patch, there's something that you could do, taking probably an hour of your time. You guys are skilled professionals, I suppose(I'm not being sarcastic, please don't read me that way...).
There's an issue with the menus scaling in widescreen aspect ratios. Strangely, not all of them; which confirms to me that the fix is easy for you guys.
If you'll take a look at http://widescreengamingforum.com/forum/forums/multi-monitor-gaming/multi-monitor-gaming/18156/eyefinity-skyrim-confirmed-hor-broken-m
, you'll see that there's quite a few of us discussing this problem at length. There are also screenshots to illustrate our complaints.
The issue affects both NVidia Surround and AMD Eyefinity users of your game. The issue makes the game unplayable for us, because we can't see the top portion of the menus, nor the bottom part of the item tooltip cards, because they go beneath the bottom of the screen.
This issue did not present itself in the Oblivion's user interface.
An example of one of Skyrim's PROPERLY executed menus is the one found when you're in-game, and you press escape. The menu there displays on just one monitor; the middle one. The savegame menu and loadgame menu show clearly; and even the screenshots from the savegames fit properly in the menu window.
I suppose(I can't program) that there must be some sort of a template in that menu that could be applied to the menu windows that are not scaling properly, like the loading screen, the game's welcome screen, the buy/sell screen, perks screen, etc.
Since the solution appears so easily implemented, I believe that the cost to Bethesda/Zenimax would be very small, for a huge reward in satisfied customers and fans; and endorsemant of your support.
Thank you!
