Post » Fri May 27, 2011 8:48 am

Kotaku have put up a http://kotaku.com/5464290/anolyzing-the-fallout-new-vegas-trailer/gallery/, deconstructing the trailer scene by scene.

the more i read the more i dont want to buy this game they absolutly nailed the feeling of being a lone wanderer by yourself at 19 trying to survive and figure things out and it was sooo realistic this seems like star wars in a way with the city look and that armor if i saw this teaser without the fallout label i wouldnt think it was fallout that scars me!!!! anyone else feeling like me?????????????????????????///

Yeah, I seem to remember that it was, at least, in scraps (or it might've been another dicegame). Lucky number seven.

Ohhhhh, just watched this for a 2nd time and something sprung to mind,

A full electrified city lights etc
A robot looking like it is burying something in a graveyard
A human hand visible as if the body has already been buried
A single human stood next to a ripped and ravaged flag

What about a city that is only occupied by robots/androids, they would easily rebuild it in the short space of time and you are one of the few surviving humans to make it this far.

mmmmmmmmmmmmmm interesting

As being one of the few people on these forums who actually live in Vegas. This looks [censored] great.

But, there is a ton which level designers will [censored] up, I'm sure. The strip is far longer then what the trailer showed, The top of the stratosphere looks different. They clearly didn't add many of the other major casino's like the Bellagio or the Rio. If I have my geogrophy down, he seems to looking at the Stratosphere from the east, so he should be in a very urban area actually, where the court house and law offices sit.

Interesting...

It's a little too early to make a decision like that, I think.

As far a being a lone wanderer, not much is as lonely as looking at a far away city from an empty hilltop.

i am going to buy this game regardless just because its fallout. but i think by the looks of it there are going to be some serious changes and a lot of controversey when this games comes out its foreshadowing almost i can just tell and i dont care if previous people from fallout 2 are on obsidian that was a long time ago they dont know anything i want bethesda to cover this because no one can do it like them i want todd howard on this 24/7

Remember that Fallout was split from our timeline in the 50's and that Vegas has been partially/majorly and/or completely rebuilt since October 23rd 2077

To be quite honest I have had kind of a Fallout 3 burnout for awhile now, but that trailer kind of woke me up a bit and makes me want to reinstall all my Fallout 3 add-ons and play it again. I loved that trailer and can't wait for more!

Oh yeah, they helped get the series to where it is today and are part of the reason you have a Fallout 3 and they don't know anything.

True....I just hope to god that they keep the Palazzo. So you can kill Ghouls and Super Mutants in Gucci and Louis Vuitton. That's what this chick wants.

I noticed the Games for Windows logo in the end of the teaser, so apparently there'll be 360 controller support etc but is New Vegas using LIVE service? I mean for DLC's, saves and everything? I'm asking because it's common knowledge that Games for Windows LIVE in Fallout 3 has been a real pain in the ass until you disabled the [censored] thing.

I saw Xbox live, but only Games for Windows (without "live"). Is it the same thing with or without the "live"? Nevermind though, I'm not going to use it anyway.

AFAIK there's a nuance between Games for Windows and Games for Windows LIVE and there's a possibility that there won't be any LIVE crap.

Eh, it was in the trailer.

Then it's likely to be switched off on my pc, as that was the only way I could get most of the dlc to work right.

Also:

So do you go to class in the one room prefab building, with all the other special snowflakes?

There could be a possibility that you play as the son/daughter of "The Chosen One" from the first and second game. Another possibility is that the people of Arroyo with the help of the GECK rebuilt Vegas to make the new community.
