Fantastic equaliser, well done New Zealand
I have a deceased Slovakian relative I loved dearly like a sister, so I wanted Slovakia, but it's so cool to see new boys do so well.

Wow, what a dramatic finish. Probably the best goal of the tournament for now.

I think New-Zealand will consider this a victory! (specially since all 4 teams in the group are now tied)

Woot! I'm supporting New Zealand in this World Cup because they're the worst team in FIFA, so I'm quite happy with that result :P

Is it just me or is there an unusually high amount of ties this World Cup? I mean, if it is a good game then I'm happy, but I would like to see some wins (and in some cases losses)!

I don't see why they shouldn't - not only is this their first goal on FIFA World Cups ever, but their first point on one ever, too.

Prepare for vuvuzela symphony, though.

Megalols at how loud and proud the Portuguese are singing their national anthem! Apart from Ronaldo, who was already in a huff.

Zokora with a mildly dangerous tackle followed by an impressive piece of Cronaldo diving, showcasing why he is the biggest [censored] in the known world. Kudos.

Like I said, he'd be the perfect player if he wasn't such a dike. And after that foul the commentator here said "Of course, the best players of the world have to be protected..." :banghead: Humanity svcks.

The match is dynamic, though. Finally.

One of the first long-distance shots not to go miles over with this new ball, but I was very pleased to see it hit the post. :P

There are only two players I like in the Portuguese team - Carvalho and Coentrao. Ivory Coast has Sven G?ran Eriksson, at least.

EDIT: Yellow card, HA!

Yup, barring his temperament he's pretty much the perfect footballer, if I were to pick a player who was as a close to perfect as possible it would be Ronaldo. His all round game is fantastic, technically great, good vision, good in the air, physically immense... I hate that bastard. If he'd grow a bit of work ethic and stop being such an all round deplorable person, I'd marry him.

Ewww Too much Ronaldo love, need a shower...

EDIT: Lmao, that was the least manly "squaring up" I've ever seen, good one Cristiano.

Ahaha, he just fell and the referee was just like "eff yoo, get up!" xD

Seriously though, he's like a thirteen-year-old hormone-crazed kid.

It's probably a good job Drogba isn't fit because then I'd have to rage at all the patheticness on show. Now I'm just mildly irritated by it.

Don't forget pass master Eboue, god bless him. I love the guy, so harmlessly comical, might get him on my shirt next season :P. Only problem he has is that when he genuinely does get mauled, no-one, including the referee, buys it.

Surely Eboue shouldn't be taking corners though? He doesn't get a sniff at club level and he's not exactly impressive in that respect

Watching this match, I'm convinced that if I ever refereed a modern football match it would have to be abandoned due to a lack of players left on the pitch. I'd send everyone off for rolling around like sissies after hardly being touched by a tackle. Learn to take a tackle like a man you bunch of pansies.

The worst of all, though, is that in most cases it's better not to fall over, because mostly what you see is the player who tackled them is on the floor and the ball keeps going forward, so if they just stayed up and caught up with the ball they'd clearly outrun the tackler. But noooo... "ooooh, mr. referee sir, he tackled me! It huwts!! :< "

Get Drogba on and have him wallop Ronaldo with his cast, right on the nose. I need to see something entertaining in this match.
