Home advantage. World cup/ Man Utd standard. :P

Don't mention Man Utd... Just you wait until Howard Webb gets a game. http://bigfourza.files.wordpress.com/2010/03/howard_webb.jpg

SA settling in a bit now, they're still rushing things though.

in ur dreams, tell you what, I'll date you if Greece wins this.

Damn, I've got no chance. Same bet from my end but Malta is the factor. Now we're both hopeless!

Anyway, I'm finally feeling the WC atmosphere! Wait till Italy play on Monday, just as I finish my last uni final exam. B)

^ It was a great save though, he actually saved it rather than let it hit him like what happens a lot when people say great save.

No goals though. How 2 teams who defend so uselessly didn't concede is beyond me!

Cos the finishing is about the same. :P Neither of these teams are going far on current evidence.

29 posts in one half. There are 64 matches (I think) so we due to go 18.56 threads in just game commentary. Which doesn't include pre-game build up and post game anolysis :P

Damn you lot with your TV/laptop combos! I came up with a cunning plan to watch the ITV Player on my Wii to get the surround sound, but it wouldn't believe I was in the UK  Still, with all those horns I'm not sure it's the best time for it...

Game has been alright so far, nothing special. I could see maybe 2-0 Mexico. Either that or 1-0 SA. Just the way the game looks to be going so far, and if Mexico score one I can see them scoring again pretty quick.

It needs someone to set the emotions alight, then it could go crazy. I'm hoping. And I am watching on a medium computer monitor, it rarely pauses, sound is fine, but it's like watching in colour in 1966, a bit blurry, but you can see what happens.
But watching with you guys is almost as good as the pub, and I have the booze.

Get a wireless keyboard! :P

What use is that with my PC through in my room!? :P I could just nick my flatmate's laptop, but I dread to think what I'd find when I open up the internet.

One plausible answer my friend:

The Goalkeepers. Insane.

Yep, could be goals galore if the outfield players start playing with belief.

5 minutes into the half and no post? Blasphemy!

Probably because bugger all is happening :P SA need to improve their final ball, they're getting into good positions but no service for the striker.
