A quick question, hardcoe or not and how much harder is combat in hardcoe?

hardcoe only effects elements like food etc, doesn't change how hard it is.

only way you can make it hard is options difficulty settings then change via there.

Amazon are very odd with their linkage on the website - I've even bought books etc that have turned up and been the wrong thing because the link of purchase wasn't the same as link of description. So I'm sure it will be okay but I'd still call them to confirm...check your bank statement too. See if the amount having been taken is the amount for a pS3 or 360 game.

Just checked my Bank Statement, the amount that came of was for the Xbox 360 version (The one I want) does this mean I'm definitely getting the Xbox Version?

Got home hoping the game would be sitting on my doormat. Or around the side of the house if it was too big for the letterbox and instead, nothing....
Not even any letters even though the post is usually delivered at 11AM.

I really hope this isn't a repeat of the last time I ordered from Game, where it came on Monday the week after.

Ah I see, thanks. hardcoe sounds more interesting, pulls you into the game more. I just watched a review on Youtube (I think it was IGNs) and it said that the game recommends not playing on hardcoe.

I'd definitely say that's been a typo type issue honey. Try not to fret - it will be with you soon. :)

Got mine around 11 this morning thanks to GAME.

Was pretty disappointed when I couldn't install but the Collectors Edition is still really nice. It's actually sort of a good thing because I won't get the pre order bonus code until tomorrow via email anyway, probably won't get the guide until Monday.

I'm probably one of the few who loves that I can own a hard copy and also have it on Steam, I love Steam.

Is there a CE guide like there was for Fallout 3? I just really loved the hardback book - was so pretty. If there's one available for New Vegas I might spring for it...

Ordered with the Hut after i recieved MOH a day early (what a sh*te game that was) and the thought of getting New Vegas early made me almost come in my pants! However since preordering the status has read 'awaiting pick' so today i decided to cancel my order and try my luck with local tesco 24hr store. Cancelled order and then got an email saying i cant cancel as the game is now awaiting dispach! so for nearly 2 weeks it hasnt been picked then all of a sudden when i try to take my business elsewhere they change the status. It still probably wont get sent until tomorrow. I cant even send them a sh*tty email because they have thrown up an error page everytime i log in. I certainly wont be using them again. I may still try the local tesco and when the hut finally decide to send me their copy i will take that one to tesco for a refund. or vice versa which ever one is more expensive. Is that immoral of me? Anyway at the risk of going on a bit i hope the game is as good as i hope it will and the many many bugs i am reading about wont affect me too much. Happy Exploring People.

Yup, that's what I have coming :P

Although the release day is annoying, every place I tired said they wouldn't ship it until the 21st (today) and because I didn't spring for next day or Saturday delivery I have to wait until Monday :(

Funny thing is, I decided to cancel mine as well. 5 minutes later they change the status to Awaiting Despatch and charge my credit card. If they actually send the game today, I suppose I can live with that. But if they take their time, I'll just buy the game somewhere else tomorrow and return one copy later.

Good news and bad news. Good news, damn is Game fast. Three days for a delivery abroad is really awesome. Bad news, postman was lazy, didn't want to go to the second floor and has only put a notice about a package from Game in my mailbox. Thus, I'll have to actually leave the house tomorrow to get my delivery. Boo! ^_^

hardcoe also effects how you travel around the landscape. Because you need to sleep and re-hydrate to stay alive in hardcoe mode, if you try and travel a long distance that would equal you needing a rest in between you will have to travel in 2 or more parts. Resting at each point, sounds interesting.. You also have to look out for ammo weight!!
