So basically guys I live in Scotland and New Vegas isn't out until Friday, and these extra 3 days could well be the longest of my life too date! Haha, anyway, first impressions? (without spoiling any of the story - iv lasted this long avoiding Mr house threads and the like, I just want to know if the improvements are recognisable.) Thanks!

welcome to the club. iv been mopeing around all day which has really pissed off the missus. i actually have a strong distain for the americans and the canadians at the moment (but only until i get the game, its nothing personal). i hate it when game studios stagger their release dates. But hey look at it this way; The Americans and Canaadians get to deal with the brunt of the bugs and glitches, where as for us the big ones will be sorted by the time we get the game. plus we get the game on a friday and not a tuesday.

yay weekends

Fellow forumnaut from Finland aboard!

Well.. Fallout is the "America′s First Choice in Post Nuclear Simulation" so america has to get it first. :sadvaultboy:

On the bright side, we still get the game this year unlike S.T.A.L.K.E.R Call of Pripyat came HALF YEAR after its release to Europe! :ahhh:

Usually I like the gap seperating the markets. Treat the North American audience as like, extended testing, and if the feedback is terrible I'll not bother spending £40+ on a game that's either broken or just svcks. Freedback for NV is split between joyous rapture and 'man the bugs', but meh, kinda expected that and I would be getting it regardless. So yeah, I share your pain. lol

Roll on Friday. :fallout:

Not even us European moderators are immune from the extra wait. It's made doubly difficult having to look through all the topics being posted, no matter how hard I try not to allow it, those spoilers keep seeping though. :(

What bad weather? The wind and rain is Scotland's normal weather! When we get a warm day it's a shock.

Too busy with school at the moment to worry.
Luckily, will have all of half term to play NV.
So no worries.

Edit: Oh, and I'm british.

My pain is even worse SgMurph. I too live in the UK and have to wait till friday to get my copy, but to add to the pain we are going away for the entire weekend to friends. So no game time at all, worse still on Monday - When I should get a day to play the wife is off work so will not want me playing xbox!!!

Ahhh the pain!! It won't be until 1st Nov before I can properly sit down and get back into the wastes....1!!! :ahhh:

Think of it like this: The forum has probably a thousand (more or less newish) members that has F:NV and only 150 (+/-) have reported problems.

I can be patient. Run home Friday and I get to play the game for nine days straight (thank God for half term). The wait will be worth it. :D
