The worst part is that as it's "picked and packaged" it's just sitting in the departure room waiting to be sent off...completely ready, addressed, verified, paid for. Yet still not been sent.

Of course then my delivery will be late even though i paid express and it will arrive on saturday or monday.

I might just go and cry in a corner...

What.The.Hell. I've just went to check my Order on Amazon and was happy enough when it said "Dispatching Soon" needless to say I wasn't as happy when I noticed the're dispatching me a PS3 version of the game ( I have a 360). I'n the auto-confirm email they sent when I ordered it says it's the 360 version of the game I ordered. Is this an error with the site? I hope so.

Can anybody shed any light on this?

Did so on Monday. But I can't track packages from them delivered outside the county, and that is driving me nuts. Not been this excited for a game for... Well, a long time. ^_^

Aye, i just searched FO:NV CE on GAME and theres only PS3 and PC ones left. So if mine hasn't been set aside (though i think it has) then i won't be getting mine either....

They're not going to keep a limited edition of the game listed on the website if they've run out of them.
So log as you ordered the CE when it was still listed on the site which you obviously did, you should get a CE edition delivered to you.

It will honey – don’t worry. If it got to this late stage and people weren’t getting the CE’s they ordered there would be uproar.

For me the timing of the release couldn't have been better. My copy will probably turn up either Friday or Saturday. I have next week off so its the perfect opportunity to play it.

Anyone received any news from TheHut/Zavvi yet? I know they aren't the most reliable but my Hut order still shows "Awaiting Stock Pick" ie. they don't even have the game in their warehouse yet. On a similar note, I ordered Fallout 3 GOTY from them two weeks ago and it's also still "Awaiting Stock Pick". At this rate I won't be playing the game next week either as it usually takes 5-6 days after being posted to arrive here.

I went and checked mine says the same "Fallout: New Vegas (PS3)". However, clicking that link takes me to the 360 version. The picture next to the link is also of the 360 version.
Hopefully, it's just a scary typo.

Amazon are very odd with their linkage on the website - I've even bought books etc that have turned up and been the wrong thing because the link of purchase wasn't the same as link of description. So I'm sure it will be okay but I'd still call them to confirm...check your bank statement too. See if the amount having been taken is the amount for a pS3 or 360 game.

I just went on my amazon account and it says FO:NV (PS3), though the link takes you to the Xbox 360 game (which is what I want!), and the little picture by the order is a 360 game, even though the text says PS3. I'm praying it's just a typo. Does anyone else on here who has said it says PS3 have the pic of an Xbox game next to it?

I'm from the U.K. and I'm glad I'm not a beta tester. Think I'll wait for the GOTY edition to be honest. Time to load up Borderlands.

I called amazon because I just couldn't wait lol and the lady was very helpful - says that the correct game will be dispatched with no delay. Although she did say that if there is an error/delay to contact them again but I think they have to say that bit :unsure2: I hope, anyway. I'd be gutted if I get the game and they've sent me it for the wrong platform! :brokencomputer:
