She is a very lucky gal with a silver tongue and the disposition of a black widow. ;)

And an uncanny ability to distract anyone facing her. :D

On the other hand, I'm using the Mojave Express Expansion mod and added several drop boxes around. And with the portable container you can leave at home I'm using them a lot to ship my gear back home and continue on with my adventures. It's really a great mod!

***crosses fingers for when she plans to install New Vegas on her computer***
Yet another reason why I so want mods!

Heh, these are good lists. You're right, there's a lot in the game that doesn't interest me in the least but like somebody else said, I like that they're in there for other people to enjoy.

- Never played caravan. Never will.
- Never used the drop boxes. It's interesting to read there are people here who DO.
- Never used a campfire to make anything.
- Never got any other companions besides Boone and Rex and have no desire to.
- Never used energy weapons beyond trying them once or twice. Not for me.
- Never used Psycho or Jet or any of the other drugs.
- Never ate any of the food or drank any of the water (obviously I've also never done hardcoe mode either)
- Never paid to have anybody repair my stuff.
- Never bothered trying to track down that stupid BoS computer virus.
- Never used the various rooms and suites people give me.
- Never actually used any of the safe houses except to visit them once and loot them. Ha ha ha ha!!
- Never used melee combat for anything. Though I just got Oh Baby for Boone. We'll see how he likes it.
- Never used the crafting bench to make anything other than weapon repair kits.

I do make the hand load ammo. I dunno why. Like somebody said you probably don't even need it as stuff is pretty easy to kill already. I put a lot of points into Explosives especially towards the end of the game. Frag mines are just too fun. Also it's fun to use the Fat Boy on you-know-who at the end of the game.

Got another one.
I don't use mines on my explosives character.
Don't see the need for it.
Sure it was a hard struggle before I got the GMG but even before that they were so few and far apart that I always ended up saving them for something more dangerous.
Then I got the GMG.
And I sold all that baggage.

But.... Are mines considered a "feature"?

Mojave Express drop boxes.
Caravan- fiddled with it long enough to learn to play, and learned I was right- bor-ing!!
Any other gambling- see "Caravan." I've never lacked for money despite not gambling...
Poisons- lolwhut?!? Chasing ingredients to hell and gone for 10 seconds of poison on a critter that'll be dead to my melee skill in 2?

The perfect application for poison would have been as equipable ammo types for the Dart Gun. A low damage/silent weapon that you use for sneak attacks to incapacitate tough targets. Poisons would have been great with that.

-Gunny out.

Plasma Mines kill Deathclaws. Those and AM Rifle were very useful for retrieving Mercy.

I never find any plasma mines.
And as I said, once I do get mines I always end up saving them indefinitely because I always think there's something worse around the corner. :(

Never use dropboxes.

I should though because fast traveling is a pain.

I've never let a wandering merchant live after doing business. Hehe

I dont understand why people say they dont craft ammo. Its not hard or anything. Its really easy. I really enjoy the feature.
NEVER CONVERT ENERGY WEAPON AMMUNITION. Never have probably never will.

Never use the Survival skill, its really tedious.

I do like power armor and teh gambling at casinos. I never understood Caravan though.

Try to play caravan but it too hard. (Once bitten. Twice shy.) Never played it again.
Never use jet. Only sell it. Thats including Fallout3
Never use survival. Too many hoops to jump through. Make living on the lam in Oblivion like a walk in a park.
Never going to kill the Brotherhood of Steel. I know they keep to themselves but........
Never going to wear Power Armour. My Character is in a bleeding dessert it gets hot in the middle of the day.
Never going to use mods that change the looks of my companion. They look fine how they are.

Got another one, I don't use throwing weapons. (excluding grenades and dynamite on my explosives character)
I mean, if the throwing weapons had their own skill and a greater variety and availability then it might be more fun but they are so rare, limited and bad DMG that I just end up not using one.

Never ate food that gave more than about -150 FOD.

I meticulously gathered the supplies to make several Caravan Lunches on my character with high Survival, and then realized that it feels wasteful to eat something with -303 FOD when I never go beyond minor hunger sickness. My pockets are already full of delicious and lightweight steaks anyway.

I guess it all depends on if/when you locate something that pings your "something worse!" meter. :D

I used my the few plasma mines I ever found on the Radscorps guarding the lost laser pistol. I was far too low level and underequipped, gun wise, to fight a swarm of Giant Radscorps. Definitely "something worse". Heh.

And I constantly used pulse mines on the stronger robots (Gutsy's, depending on my guns; and always on Sentries).

...never used a non-explosive Throwing weapon. Or poison.

I play the hell out of caravan, its the best way to get rich quick, just switch between dino shop and mohave outpost you can buy out all their items and then win all your money back as well as theirs, come back in a few days repeat.

Never use the mojave express box.

I killed Tabitha the first time through, but I havent any other times because shes the best of the radio stations makes me crack up.

I snuck into the gunrunners first time through and killed them all, I could still buy from the gun runner robot vendor afterwards. The other playthroughs I didnt because there really isnt that much great stuff in there, if I remember an assault carbine, some weapon repair kits, some other junk, no special weapon inside.

Hardly ever used throwing weapons that were non-explosive even with my melee/unarmed character playthrough, they just arent that effective and it annoys me you cant pick the thrown weapons back up.

Hardly ever played in the casinos, except for when I had to get the "Courier who broke the bank" achievement, much easier with luck level 10 by the way.

Almost never used any laser weapons, except for the custom laser pistol "Pew Pew" which is awesome.

Even when I played through with my survival at 100, I never really crafted any food, too much time to find all the supplies.

Features that I don't use...

Cooking and crafting. Too much trouble for too little reward - and generally, while a good featurs on paper and as ideas (Gothics and Risen did it fine), not needed and thus they fall down to the category of "mere curiosity".

Always wear black leather armor. Never wear anything else, certainly not that ugly power armor, that's for sure.

Me, I've never played caravan. Just don't care.

Tried playing it once, wasn't allowed to do anything but lose so I never played it again.

I've never used the Mojave Express drop boxes. Never felt a need.

I've actually used this pretty extensively, since ammo has weight in hardcoe mode I find myself mailing a lot of it to my pad on the strip. I'm also in the process of transferring all my gear from Goodsprings and Novac to the Lucky 38 and the drop box proves invaluable to that task.

One thing I never, or hardly ever, use is the campfire. I found all the stim packs, cram, and purified water that I'll ever need, so I don't really see the point of the campfire.

Campfire seems more suited strange enough to a Science build rather than survival. My first go around I built up science and put together a ton of stimpaks, super stimps, and the lot... had plenty to sell and came across the ingredients pretty easily.

Just hit my survival up to 92 this morning on my 2nd char and it has it's benefits but I don't think they substitute for good science.

The only thing it seems really nice for is sometimes eating food is so powerful now it's like having health regeneration. Some of the food I can consume now gives 15HP per second or more. I haven't tried putting together some of the enemy debuffs yet but that's my next task. It's kind of fun to wander the wasteland and look for ingredients even though I'm at lvl 30 and "done" cooking.

Never used the drop boxes, just put heavy stuff on companions. I did play tons of caravan and win nearly all the time. My winnings to date is over 60 thousand caps on my survivalist melee character.

Never really pick pocket... just don't see the point, most people don't have anything good. Except Rual, I got 30K back from him for repairing gear. Next time I dried to swipe 22K and he's caught me everytime. Now I need to decide if I walk away or just kill him outright.

I play Caravan because I think it's fun. I use the drop boxes as extra storage and as a method to get things to my safehouses without actually taking the time to go there. I use Med-X, Rad-X, RadAway, Stimpacks, and Hydra... No other drugs. I used poisons once. I gamble constantly because I enjoy it. I use campfires, workbenches, and reloading benches regularly.

I'm surprised that I do most of the things that others seem to avoid actually.
