Like the Volkihar and Sanguinare competing for the favor of the newly awakened Lamae Beolfag. Both clans launch ever bolder and more frequent attacks on not only each other, but also the mortal settlements in an attempt to earn her favor. This causes the Vigilants of Stendarr to form a specialized group, specifically devoted and trained to slay Vampires; the "Dawnguard". So it basically becomes a three way war between the brutal and ruthless Volkihar, the stealthy and manipulative Sanguinare, and the righteous mortals.
The disease that makes you a volkihar is called sanguinare, sanguinare vampiris to be specific and they are one in the same, just because they have the same game mechanis doesn't make them not volkihar, its just bethesda's doing which is why a lot of people are posting for improvements to make them more different from the previous vampire but a war between factions is something most if not all of us want added and more quests of course.
Feeding system needs to change obviously which could easily be done by reversing the stages so one gets stronger by feeding.
Add Physical bonuses such as brawling, one/two-handed weapons and blocking.
Increased speed and jump height.
more frost spells with a vampiric twist.
I don't see vampires as evil. I just don't. Regardless of their nature. But I guess for those people who believe in such morals and stuff like that, it's good because they can try to symphatize with the faction.
Vampires are not inherently evil, i never said that but as former humans they can be evil, very evil actually if it was in their nature.
That is the great thing about vampires, they can come with different morals and ethics. I prefer the evil nomadic types like in near dark.
To other posters, you don't have to choose just what you would like from the game jam, this thread is about three things, one is what you want from the game jam, the second is what you would like to see that is inspired from the game jam and third is just whatever you would like to see from the top of your head. so there was no off topic-ness in your ideas.
