In short, when someone says that something will not go bad, it WILL go bad.

Murphy's the guy who breaks your printer when your assignment is due tomorrow, who stops buses when you are in time for an appointment, who cooks up your motherboard when you are backuping your most important work, who joins a forum to start a flame war when someone claims that there will not be one. :P

Alright, I'm going waaay too off-topic now. I'll go make sure Murphy does not join the discussion. ;)

I don't really think that "proper" (as in, player-involving) homosixuality really belongs in the game, but I don't really mind homosixual (or implied) characters. See Flak and Shrapnel.

I like the idea of having it added as Options, so that I don't have to Watch it or Experience it - that would be taking it too far if forced upon the player, I'm sure that would cause issues. But if it was optional, letting the player select what kind of experience they want to "deal" with, I would have no problems whatsoever if it was as prominent as heterosixual stuff.

Define forced.

I don't see a need for it in the game, but I wouldn't have a problem with it if it was just optional, like in Fable II.

Also, pretty sure the dialog option for Amata with a female character was the developers being lazy :P

Like Nova, it's optional what you do with her, and it not being an important part of the game, just something you can do if you want.

So, even if it's required for a quest, right? 'cause quests are always optional.

If it's one of the ways to complete a quest, then yeah I'm fine with it. It would be forced if that is the only way.

Not everybody should be able to do every quest. If your character isn't willing, then perhaps they should just walk away.

they might not be able to "complete" it, but there should be some kind of outcome. Plus I don't see how people have a problem with multiple options during a quest. They should be pretty open too.

"No, I won't sleep with you, but thanks anyway" is an outcome.

I've no problem with multiple options, indeed I have a problem with single-optioned quests (So dull!), but I don't think every character should be able to do every quest.

I like the idea. Anything that adds more options to the game is good, but I'm gay so I am biased lol :P

That's no problem, when it comes to ideas for games and what people want in them, everyone is biased.

They all want what they like, and don't want what they dislike.

If it's either homo or hetero, all six and romance in the game should be gross, funny, and goofy. I think they should make homosixuality something like losing the armwrestling match to Francis, but heterosixuality should get the same treatment. If it's an appealing romance, then it ain't Fallout.

I have deleted posts. Please don't use this thread to discuss the "normality" of homosixuality asit serves only as flamebait. Don't go there and this thread will stay open. Go there and this thread will be closed and warnings issued.

It would make the game feel more real and and give you and idea how of how filled the world in this game is with characters i would laugh so hard if your walking around a blown up casino and some guy comes up to you and starts hitting on you but then gets shot and mutters a little "je-jesus christ"

This thread title made me double-check whether I hadn't mistakingly logged onto the BioWare Social Network. A very harrowing experience, to say the least.

I'd like to have some homosixual characters/content. Flak+Shrapnel. Those ghouls in the hotel. (is the haircut ghoul?)...

Don't bother trying to appease people... the same 3 people who will boycott a game because of it will already be boycotting it because of the violence and swearing and stuff anyway. If you don't want a gay character then don't play one.

I may have to agree, people might think of the game negatively.
