P.S: Portal 2 is for kids, I will say that deus ex isn't yellow if you could remove the effect, but you can't, it might be Game Of The Yellow, not Game Of The Year, but maybe your fan boyism is stronger than mine

Maybe if you've never played a sandbox game before it seems like the greatest thing since sliced bread.

Albion Prelude did Sandbox better.
Witcher 2 did RPG better
Arkham, Zelda, and Deus Ex did Action/Adventure better
Portal 2 did Puzzle better.

Skryim is better in terms of sandbox. I could walk around skyrim all day..

As far as those games go... Some are good. But.... Im still playing skyrim and shelved most of the other games. Because its so much fun, so packed with adventure and so epic.

Zelda... is seriously bleh....

Jumping from mountain top to mountan top with my Nord Barbarian in a 20 minute dragon fight... Ya. Thats the buzz!

No game has that buzz..

Skyrim seems to try and JAM so much into the game its bound to have a ton of problems.. Id rather a jam packed game with problems than a short one. Just sayin.

That's the exact problem I have with Skyrim. It's a banquet feast made entirely out of spam.

Most games are meals you'd find at a sit down restaurant.

Sure there's more to eat at the skyrim banquet, but do I really want to sit down and eat a bunch of spam when there's a perfectly good roast right next to me?

I love playing on pc i actually have to come to the forums to find out what bugs are....because you know us pc users experience no such problems EVER because pc is just soooo awesome and better then the consoles....PC FTW

blame mircrosoft or sony its not gamesass fault for below quality hardware...

EDIT- i played consoles since the playstation 1, i always enjoyed pc better...since diablo....

p.s i also owned diablo on the sony liked it better on pc..

How true, but i have met the very odd exception. there are people with enough balls to admit being wrong.

I have issues with this GOTY moniker. It seems to me that every big game is `the game of the year`. it`s like the Oscars. Who chooses? It`s not me or the ordinary game player as far as I can tell?

And wasn`t BF3 game of the Year? And Shogun Total war 2? It`s like every big game that comes out calls itself GOTY and then says it has a load of awards.

I`m calling propaganda.

I love the skyrim food. The games you mentioned are collecting dust becaue they mostyl easy and tooooo short. Even if i played batman 1 hour a day id still beat it in a week.

Anyways...

I got a sly theif.

I got a hot lil mage

I got a EVIL Vampire DRAGON BORN that spread deatha nd desrtuction.

I got a dragon Slayer Nord Barbarian

And a werewolf that stalks the country side as night feasting on farmers

And im just gettin started.. The more you play this game the better you get at buliding characters around the rigth quest and set up..

There's no GOTY clause stating "The GotY must be a sandbox game. It can be absolutely terrible, crash every 3 minutes, and steal your credit card info, but if it's the only sandbox game then it wins"

It's a good game sure, but I wouldn't say it's the best of this year.(If beth had delayed release and actually finished it, I think it would be a strong contender though. Probably would've been in the 2012 lineup though)

Who said anything about my opinion of the game? Lol Reading comprehension is your friend man. I simply stated the facts. For all media outlet awards Skyrim has won more goty awards than any other game in history. That has nothing to do with what I think of the game.

Not sure if it will help in your case but it might be worth checking out anyway, the PS3 forum Skyrim Hardware and Software Issues Subforums is jammed full of threads and posts similar to this, it has been like this since Skyrim was released for PS3 which means that a lot of the community have come up with various suggestions for temporary fixes and workarounds most of which do seem to help in the short term to get your game back up and running. Some of the suggestions may be relevant for your Xbox. One thing that really does help a lot (on PS3 anyway) is to turn all autosaves off, there is also a sticky from Gstaff on the main page with other suggestions……..no harm in looking.
