How the oblivion did Skyrim get game of the year...

Post » Sat Jun 09, 2012 7:24 pm

Who said anything about my opinion of the game? Lol Reading comprehension is your friend man. I simply stated the facts. For all media outlet awards Skyrim has won more goty awards than any other game in history. That has nothing to do with what I think of the game.

I'm not sure why you're getting upset, I said I was happy for you :D

you called me a fan boy just because I said i like skyrim and in my opinion deserves GOTY... coherent much?

Not really, that was in response to your need to childishly dismiss other titles in ADHD-style hyperboles.

I'm reporting this thread. More useless bickering then actual discussion. Petty.

It does sadden me that people apparently don't want to see aspects of the game improved. Any criticism immediately labels you as a "hater". Someone who actually cares about the game will want to talk about how to improve it. But dear god, Skyrim is the holy grail and can do no wrong.

Negatory.

They're amusing though, you have to admit  It's actually cute in a way to see these guys go "LMAO you're just jealous because Skyrim got a million goty rewards!".

The trouble is fair chunk of the Improvements I have seen suggested in this forum do not really improve the game.Even more make complaints with no suggestion how to fix what they do not like.
Unfortunatly they devolve into bickering and no real discussion takes place.

What it needed was a compelling story, or at least a finished one in many of the questline cases. Half the guilds are over in an hour or two. The civil war feels incomplete and nothing changes. NPCs spout things that make no sense. Or repeat the one line they have over and over. It isn't that hard to put conditionals on this stuff.

In the end it feels like a first person action adventure game in a market where there are much better action/adventure games. It may have an open world, but X3: Albion Prelude has one too, has more to do, and is much more complex.

Btw, game runs fine on my system. I don't have crashes, my issues are with the game itself not being finished.

I find it sad that people dont have anything better to do with their lives but complain about a game that dont like and try to insult players who do enjoy it.

Because if it aint jealousy it must be some sort of mental problem...

SKYRIM = GOTY

And guess whos NOT crying about it... ME!!!!!

Because they just disregard the bugs and look at the actual game itself. I'd say Skyrim deserved it looking at the other nominees, but that's my opinion. I've yet to run into bugs in my copy and I feel for those who have broken copies and are unable to play the game without it breaking.

Maybe soon Bethesda will fix the whole problem...
i think reviewers should have done this with fallout new Vegas, despite the bugs it deserved to be goty.

Agreed, and there is enough going on in this topic. Quite honestly I can neither be bothered nor intend to clean up this topic. I think if I did there would be a few of you away from the forums for several days.
