Sorry to hear that, Sheikah. I hope you broke his kneecaps in order to convey your feelings about the matter?

I'm far too nice of a person to do such an act of aggression.....*cough* :D

I've been on holiday for nearly a month now...and [censored] am I actually bored to death  I know, I know - I'll be eating those words in a few weeks when classes start back up again...but still...I'm so bored of my daily routine right now, ugh. I think I need to start spending more money on lottery tickets in the hope of striking it big and gifting myself a nice, long vacation somewheres abroad :D

Wishful thinking that.... >.<

I had my driving test cancelled yesterday because the bint of an examiner decided at 10am, that she couldn't make a 3pm test, when the roads were already clear of all snow. I was really hoping to pass this time aswell. <_<

Dammit, I'm all out of grandparents :(.

Bob, my paternal grandfather, died this morning. Wasn't expected, but wasn't surprising. At least he didn't have to suffer through slowly wasting away, he wouldn't have liked that at all.

Unfortunately, he lived about a thousand km away (over 600 miles, I think), so I didn't see him much.

Had plans to go into the city with friends on monday. Work put me on the schedule for that day, though.

Not sure what I wanna do. It's too late to "request" it off, and it's technically within my availability now that's schools over... it really is "my bad" since I didn't request it off because normally they won't schedule me to work a monday.

Eh, I suppose I'll just call out. Erm, I was going to make a joke about myself being a bit short on grandparents to use that excuse, but given 1Sami's status, won't go near that. My condolences :(.

In other news, my Casio GZONE phone is beginning to show some damage. Actually lost a chunk out of it on the top "flip" portion, possibly from the stress of opening it too far. Which I don't recall ever doing, but it appears to be the cause.

I think some circuitboard may be exposed now, but I'm sure it'll keep on truckin'. Nevertheless, I'm taking it as an excuse to start browsing smartphones. I'm thinking Motorola Droid? Android 2.0 is pretty cool, though I hear discouraging things about the keyboard and Send/End soft-buttons, it does most of what I want in a phone. Anybody got experience with it yet?

I've got a sinus infection. AGAIN. This time, it isn't all clogged up, so I've got snot dribbling out of my nose as I type. <_<

My NECA Player Select Kratos with Flaming Blades of Athena arrived in the mail yesterday. Compared to the Raziel and Kain figures, the plastic is really brittle on both the figure and the flaming blades part - I've already had it break. Krazy glue didn't work, so I'm using plastic weld glue. If that doesn't work, I"ll have to move on to other kinds of glues. It's less an action figure and more of a some-assembly-required sculpt. =/ Got it for under $20 (including shipping), so I can't be too disappointed. Going to set him up in my room, since there's no space left on my computer desk. :P I hope NECA does a new (and better constructed) model for God of War 3. I'm looking forward to the Bioshock 2 figures, I already picked up the Big Daddy preview figure - that thing is massive! Not so much in height but sheer volume and girth. It's built like a tank.

I need a tissue...

So, how was everyone's new year? Like I said a few pages back, I wont say what i did at mine because of fear of the banhammer, but some of you here are beyond the legal drinking age.

Well, I finally get my mother to get me Mega Man X8 and right now the installer is [censored]ing up. It's getting annoying. And yes, I did drink a full 2-liter bottle of Root Beer on New year's eve.

Oh, finally it starts to work as I type this post

Ach, yet another year behind me. Currently munching down my strawberries and rasberries that I collected during the summer last year. Well worth the effort, and cost me nothing. Also made my very first birthday cake:

http://i33.photobucket.com/albums/d90/Olaf_Merchant/Photos/mr_cake23.jpg

Why make one, then? Dunno, really. Maybe it's one of the few things in life for my inner child that didn't eventually wither off and die in meaning. A delicious cake is always a delicious cake, no? Still waiting the flavor to seep in, gonna eat it later tonight. Guess the camera will come in handy to documenting my little achievements, after all. I got cutlery as a birthday present. Not bad, since I'm always running out of damn forks in this place. I'm feeling a tad jubilant, even. I bought some expensive salmon for the occasion. Since I have to bear bloody days that are all alike and pretty dreadful for the most of it, thought I might at least have one day in the year when I actually celebrate something- all the other holidays and such have long since lost all meaning, but I can get behind to dedicating a day to remember my favourite person, that dashing rogue that he is. Gonna watch some kung fu or something, eat my salmon and potatoes, finish off with a slice or two of cake, and Cthulhu willing, maybe get some sleep, too. Eh, too much asked, I guess. But at least I've one day of mediocre mirth to go by before returning to work and the dull grey routine.

That... cake... looks... delicious...

Its about that time again... for me to completely turn into Mr. Jekyll. I hate doing core classes in college. This is my second attempt at it, and they always completely strip me of my motivation. I need to spend today thinking about how to resolve this. Sadly, I'll spend it thinking about unrealistic alternatives to college, like becoming stinking rich in any of various ridiculous ways(damn ShamWOW beat me to the punch again!).

TWas just reading the ZeniMax terms and conditions, and found this.

.....You agree to indemnify and hold ZeniMax harmless, and, at ZeniMax's request, to defend ZeniMax from and against any claim, demand, cause of action, debt, loss or liability, including reasonable attorneys' fees.....

I found it funny that a massive company with lots of money would ask regular citazens to pay for reasonable attorneys' fees. :P At least, that's how I understand it =/

4Dude, you have a bread bin! I've been looking for one for ages. You have wealth beyond measure, and a very belated Happy Birthday. Nice cake for a first try too. Bet you ate it all.

Thankee kindly. I keep my fruits in that bin. I buy a lot more of them than bread, and it's convenient to have the little space I got in the kitchen up for preparing food and the likes. ^_^ Didn't manage to obliterate it by myself, had a helping hand from my brother. And it still lasted for a good three days.

Today, I realized how bored I would be at home, if I didn't have a broadband connection.

Did anyone else in the UK have any internet issues today?

My past week at a glance (I'd do a haiku, but I don't know how!):

- my sister's boyfriend proposed to her (finally!)
- my ovarian cyst ruptured
- my desktop problems are all fixed
- but now my laptop is misbehaving
- I'm not having any fun with computer games
- and I've been watching a butt load of TV (animal documentaries, Big Cat Diary, Dr. G: Medical Examiner, Mythbusters, Dirty Jobs)

Hey lurkers, i need... guidance

Is there anyone out there whos felt kinda.... painfully in love? I feel kinda wierd. When i think about her cos i miss her (lives in UK) I get butterflies and a feeling in my throat that feels like im not breathing. It is just the most unusual thing. Does this happen to other people or is it just me? Its not anything like an illness because if i don't think bout her im fine. Can such strong love and missing someone really have this effect?

edit: I mean if theres a song to describe my feelings its this one, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xzkhOmKVW08

Im a bit freaked out to be honest.

Well, I guess you can add another member to the lonely hearts club. It's over with my girlfriend. I'm feeling kind of down, I guess. Well, that'd be an understatement, to say the least. Whining about it on a forum isn't going to do me any good, but luckily I don't care. I really think I'm just going to give up on trying to build a relationship for awhile, because it's not working for me at all. I'm sure that I'll meet someone who's right for me eventually, but whoever they are, I think they're gonna have to wait. The worst part is I can't ingest copious amounts of alcohol any time soon, so hopefully the weekend won't dally getting here.

My conversation with my dad for me to get consoling was MUCH better than I thought. I thought he was going to disown me because I wanted to be the opposite six, I think I should think more of my dad now. Also, cartoon I'm drawing for school is almost done and I'm TOTALLY not digging the ELA regents this month!

That great, pardon my ignorance but what exactly is the for if you don't mind sharing.

As for me I found out I have kidney stones today. Already passed on but dear god I'm in pain right now. I've barely moved from my couch today after getting home from the hospital, I'm not looking forward to passing the other stone luckily there rather small stones.
