Just a curiosity thing, but has anyone on the current NV development team had any association with the development of any of the original Fallout titles such as FO1, FO2, FO3 or even Fallout Tactics or Van Buren? Inquiring minds want to know... ;)

P.S. Sorry Dan, just HAD to steal your Avatar...

Some of the 2 devs definitely, not sure about 1. Tactics (AFAIK) and F3 were done by entirely different teams.

Which energy booster do you all use on those 16+ hour days before a Milestone? Coffee / Lattes? Chocolate? Soda/Cola? The Tread Mill? Or do they often find devs with their foreheads buried in the keyboard at 6am? :)

Coffee is the most common choice of poison, but for the long days, we have a plentiful supply of energy drinks to choose from should we need it. Oh, and I have a stash of turbo truffles from 1999 in case someone is desperate. I try to avoid having my guys work extra hours if they don't need to, though.

Btw hi! :-)

Hey there! It used to be coffee, now it's a lot of tea. Not sure what made me switch over.

Hello Obsidian devs, I am the resident Batman :hehe:

I come here as a representative* of a little place called The Community Discussion, it's a cool little place we like to hang out at, enjoy a cold beer and talk about silly things. ^_^ You should visit some time, if you're not scared of insane gamers, metalheads, anime fans and yiasemi.

Okay, here's a question... or two.

If you where living in the Wasteland America. What faction (I'm gonna remind you not to spill any info on new factions by misstake :P) would you most likely belong to? And why?
Who of the devs are most likely to survive the longest in the Wasteland?

@Exo: We had a vote, or you had a vote? :P

Btw finished Torment just two weeks ago (for the first time) - wish such a great writing was found in todays games...so...NV ? : ))

Thats good - there would be a 200% drop in productivity if they stopped serving free coffee here at my work, followed by irratable devs and eventual revolt if it didn't come back. Still I'm convinced that Caffeine boosts production in most things!

Oh, and I have a stash of turbo truffles from 1999 in case someone is desperate.

Ack! This could be 1 hour of sugar-high-development followed by 4 hours in the bathroom. But if their Lindelle Truffles, it could still be worth it... :lmao:
