Can't speak for Rob, but Jeremy Soule's soundtrack to the original Total Annihilation is still one of my favorite soundtracks around.

I think the Intro to Mech2 was one of the most fantastic I've seen done - actually gets me pumped-up to play again when I watch it.

Hey guys, thanks for making another Fallout for us.

Since the rest of the world seems to be playing Mass Efffect 2 right now I suppose you as RPG'ers gave it at least a look as well. What do you play as, do you think the changes they made (e.g. simplifying the characters skills, redesigning armor & weapons handling) are an improvement and who are your favorite teammates? (personally I'm partial to Tali & Garrus)

Also, out of curiosity - how often do you look things up on the Fallout wiki?

I can assure you guys that we are even more happy, that you are making this game! :)

But.. back on topic.

If you guys would have to describe yourselves using SPECIAL system, what would be your stats?

Yo - what's up everybody? Just want to say hi! Um...I'm the character conceptual artist on this thing. I'm also one of the guys who worked on Fallout 2. Oh and I know Josh Sawyer! true story.

Also (question for all devs), what is your favorite movie?

My favorite movie is The Dark Crystal. Altough I am also a big fan of the Lord of the Rings. But there are many other movies I love.

I'm a huge Star Wars nerd and member of the 501st.

Most of them, I have the entire OC Remix catalogue. I also have soundtracks from most of the Final Fantasys, Chrono Trigger, Xenogears, the Metroid games, the Castlevania games, Sonic, Mario, Okami, and to many others to write down here. I think my games playlist in iTunes has almost 6000 game related songs in it. Usually regardless of whether or not I've played a game or even enjoyed it, if I like the music I'll listen to it. I'm always looking to expand on my game music and am open to suggestions. So if you know any good soundtracks out there let me know. :)

I have a question.

Do you think the Nightmare on Elm Street remake has any chance to surpass the original?

Donnie Darko is one of many favorites.

Wizards
Heavy Metal
The Princess Bride
Fire and Ice
...

I have a growing wall of DVDs.

The most recent TV series I've gotten into is Supernatural.

I also love this movie. It's a shame that the sequel "S.Darko" is so .......

MCA, what's the word on PAX?

I got a an old pirate localized copy of F2 for you to sign(It was my first one, now I own at least 3 copies)

I'd like to go to PAX East, although our panel submission couldn't make the crunch - they had 4x the number of panels than they had capacity for.

If I make out there, though, I'd be happy to sign your copy.

This ones for Chris Avellone;

You helped make Fallout 2, right? I think everybody agrees that Fallout 3 was different, but have you done anything to make NV be more like the first two? Or are you following in Bethesda's footsteps? To me it wouldn't matter either way. I'm just wondering.

Yep, I did area design and encounter design for F2 (worked on Vault City's third and final iteration, companions: Cassidy and Myron, special encounters, New Reno, Raider Camp, and the EPA, which got canned - and good thing, too, we already had too many locations) and some perk designs. Brian Menze, Feargus, Chris Jones, Scotty Everts, and Dan Spitzley are all here, all worked on Fallout 2, not all of them are on New Vegas, though.

The trailer is the only thing I can point to to answer your question, can't say much more than that. Josh and John Gonzalez (our creative lead and master of all things plot-related) put together a great story with some fun new mechanics, and they know their Fallout. ;) I think we're using all the stuff we've been kicking around for the past ten+ years with RPGs and seeing how they can be applied to New Vegas on both the plot and system side.

The only reason I'd go to any conferences is for F:NV or your panels. So no panel - no PAX. There's still PAX West though.

12 Angry Men followed very closely by American Beauty.

Great choice with the Dark Crystal, though.

This is silly.

Today is the first day these forums went up, and its Extremely good PR for the team to be present and posting on that day.

They have already said they work 16+ hour days when the Milestones approach, how many of us work that many hours ever in a day?

Have faith, don't spank, be inspired.
