Ice cube down the shirt? Cold water in the face? Jabbing someone in the flanks by surprise? :P

If Ice Cube is down my shirt, I'm in the wrong part of LA.

Ack! This could be 1 hour of sugar-high-development followed by 4 hours in the bathroom. But if their Lindelle Truffles, it could still be worth it... :lmao:

I'm pretty sure these things are toxic now... or they are magical... could go either way on this one.

Seriously though, lots of dubstep, DnB, Electro, Punk, and Classic Rock is what keeps me going. Caffeine is just a bonus. I used to be able to drink tons of caffeine when I was a kid. Now, a single shot of coffee or an energy shooter keeps wide-eyed all day.

Been listening to a lot of 90's bands lately. Smashing Pumpkins, weezer, Nirvana, Pearl Jam, etc. Good stuff.

Fallout/Darklands/Pool of Radiance (original)

+1 to those. Darklands was awesome in it's day. The original Mechwarrior game is another all-time favorite. Go anywhere in the inner sphere, headshots actually score headshots, and it actually had a text adventure for the storyline. After that, all of the Mechwarrior games turned into simulators because the latest and greatest graphics were the big thing rather than reactivity and staying true to MW's RPG roots. I enjoyed Mech Commander too.

One of these days I need to make a comprehensive list of games I've played.

Illness svcks. I hope you are fighting fit soon.

As to music? I usually listen to podcasts. But, I have an eclectic taste in music, with most of it leaning towards punk and indie bands.

@DagonZ: Hell yeah! It's badass.

Hey Chris, can we expect Floating Eye bot, called "Morte" to be companion in NV? ;)

I think we've got a good enough cast that Morte might feel a bit out of place, even roboticized. And we wouldn't want to hurt his feelings. He's pretty sensitive for a being with no nerve endings. ;)

Mr. Sawyer, what is displayed in your avatar?

Also (question for all devs), what is your favorite movie?

My favorite movie is The Dark Crystal. Altough I am also a big fan of the Lord of the Rings. But there are many other movies I love.

It was something of a surprise, and an entirely welcome one. After leaving Black Isle, I figured that was the end of working on Fallout, and I imagine the other guys did, too.

So short answer: YES. You can tag some implied profanity to the beginning of that YES, too.

And now you all have the chance to show the Islanders just how sweet a new Fallout game would have been - and they won't be reaping the rewards for it, they will only see your broad smile from afar. :)

I can think of no finer revenge.

Well, one of my favorite movies is Dark City :-)

Do any of the Van Buren devs think about that game from time to time and get misty eyed at what could've been? I'd always wanted to play an RPG like Fallout in coop mode.

Will New Vegas be anything close to what New Reno was in fallout 2? will we see the darker side of human nature being realistically portrayed in New Vegas? Gambling, six and drug use, junkies that have given up their dignity for one more fix like we saw in fallout 2? The consequences of Gambling and prostitution. Will we at least be able to gamble in New Vegas?

I'm gibbeting this as an example of a post that is off topic for the thread.

This thread is not a place for learning specifics about the game -- there will be on info on that soon enough -- but a meet and greet...
