That is exactly my point. If you believe the Legion are evil, yet; don't believe any of the real life powers of today are evil, then... well...

But if you believe the real life powers of today are morally grey, then.... you have to believe the Legion are morally grey as well.

I'm not doing a black and white thing with the morality of the game's factions. Yes, they are all shades of grey, but the Legion is worse than most of the other factions on the scale of good and evil.

No, just the Legion. The BoS(lets ignore the midwestern BoS chapter for now), House, the Followers of the Apocalypse, and almost all other factions aren't expansionistic.

I was refering to NCR and Legion as the power house empires. beyond desire for control of more land, CL and NCR differ vastly.

The NCR are more like the original Roman Republic and the Legion are more like the Huns as opposed to any manifestation of Rome.

I thought we assimilated them into American society and then we moved them to smaller reseverations. And then we obliterated them.

Some natives were more peaceful than others. Some moved to reservations with little to no resistance. Others fought back and were eventually subdued or were wiped out. Hardly a proud part of the history of the United States but then again all countries have skeletons in their closets.

A defector that had the support of every human member of the organization after openly defying his superior officer. Enough time passed between Fo2 and Fo3 for the organization to change. If the organization follows Autumn, he isn't a defector, he's the leader. Eden obviously didn't trust any of his human troops to put the FEV into the purifier, or he wouldn't have throw the FEV into the hands of a wild card that wasn't a part of his organization.

They were with the Col. because Eden was a Computer, they didn't know anything about the modified FEV. I'm sure they could care less if all mutated humans died, that is an enclave doctorate after all. Even still the NCR are nowhere near as bad as the Enclave. Comparing them is foolhardy.

Yes, obviously when the Louisiana Territory was purchased we eradicated the hostile native peoples and the others that we assimilated would eventually have less and less land then they had before.
