I wouldn't really qualify worldwide flooding, as "abandonment," and Security has built nothing - It's the founders who are the visionaries - you guys are just grunts.

But not strong enough to win...A man-made island that is falling apart, due to your blatant disregard to its prime workforce (the rebels), doesn't really scream "greatness."

this is coming from the people who protect the Founders - the people who use the rebels as a 'captive workforce,' have put us on rationed water, and forced us to live in poverty.

And we are the protectors of the PEOPLE of the Ark, and last time I checked, the Resistance have children as well, and are in much greater need of assistance. - Oh, I guess they don't count...

HA! It's the rebels that keep your precious Ark working. Just as the website says: "If their work keeps the Ark afloat, why are they second class citizens?"

Actually, those are OUR children - and they aren't singing, they are pleading for food and water.

HORSE, you take this far too seriously. If you read the thread you'd know Kombat Wombat simply wanted the Red Faction 2 speech adapted to fit Brink, which I have done. But then again there's no way anyone else could make a valid point.

Argh! I cant think of what side to choose anymore :ahhh:. Resistance look cool, and they are fighting for their families, if they win then they will go back to the mainland which is good BUT are they being selfish and dooming mankind.

The security also look cool, but are they being selfish and daming humanity by living on a crowded ark with limited resources, if they quell the resistance, then i can see a nice life on the ark for everyone, if a bit fascist but nice. :banghead: Why cant the resistance just go back to mainland on boats and leave everyone else to live happily ever after on the ark.

I think people really need to stop making assumptions about both sides. I'm going to keep my reservations about both sides, but I've always favoured the institutional based sides in games (such as Sec in Brink) over the resistance or rebels. Dunno why, I just don't mind agreeing to their morals and going along with them. For instance I would have loved to play as the EDF in Red Faction: Guerilla instead of playing as a Rebel.
