Security: You don't look like a battle tramp, you look respectable and badass. You're fighting for something good with a future. Resistance want to go back to a dying world, Security wants to look after the last hopes for humanity (The Ark). Plus I reckon it'll have a more interesting story line.

I had origanolly sided the resistance but reading some of the comments, such as yours, has changed my mind. Befor i didnt know much about the security but now i do so now im security all the way. F.Y.I im 16. just sayin cuz the guy below is sayin all the 12 year olds are resistance.

just so u guys know i origanolly sided with resistance because of my lack of knowledge on securitys story and the perspectives. I was actually leaning toward security in the 1st place but my lack of knowledge on them changed my opinion. I like to know about things, hence my picking of the resistance whom i knew more about.

:P how were you leaning towards security? you just posted this to me in another thread after i said i was leaning towards security.

Why security?! Im sure they mean well and all but their best interest is for the ark and maintaining it not for the people. The resistance on the other hand look out for he safety and well being of the people. They spread the resources equally among everyone and actually try to keep them ALIVE. The security on the other hand dont care if the people DIE and want to keep the resources for themselves. Yes the security was intended for good but even the best of intentions can go currupt. Well thats my persuasion for you, although i will admit the explination for the security was a bit vauge so im not exactually sure about what they want with the resources but im fairly certain their using them for themselves.

Are you a double agent? Mr secret agent man?

i've got my eye on you boy....

:P

Also, Horse, can you try and keep your hatred of all things Governmental strictly game related please? i like this thread, it frequently makes me laugh and i find it highly entertaining, i really would hate to see it closed because of discussions about our crumby real life world...

hey all,
sorry to slightly hijack but wanted to say I am undecided as well; as for which faction I am leaning more toward I am currently unsure on that as well as they both have valid view points and I would like to know more about each faction. I like the security forces for the reason that they bring some order to the ark, and while I do have many chaotic tendencies I still believe t here needs to be some law and order. Now I am not wholely sure what is going on with the resistance as I've heard several stories but from what I've gathered they are refugees that believe that there are pockets of civilization left and that those groups can be found and perhaps bartered with. As for the security forces from what I've read they are just trying to keep the peace, to make sure those people who are supposed to get rations do and that there isn't a wide-scale panic on the ark. I do think that resources should be given out equally, but also with resources that are fading the rations need to be more strict so they can be stretched ~shrug~. Alright that is my two cents, I won't ramble anymore.

The security are trying to "keep the peace," but the unrest is caused by the Ark - they are treating the symptoms, not the cause. The refugees want equal rations as the rest of the Ark, and to not be treated like second class citizens. They are tired of being treated unfairly, and have started to rise up. The Resistance isn't trying to take the Ark for themselves, since they ultimately want to make contact with the mainland and leave.

I can understand that, and who knows maybe they also have anarchistic views and I do not mean burn it all anarchy but the kind were people rely on common sense for decisions, you are responsible for yourself and all the work you do; you contribute to the whole rather than the individual; also little to no government involvement in the day to day affairs of the citizenry although there would be taxes of course to keep up a working peace force and defense force, and people would be trained to defend themselves with relevant weaponry.

16 and 12 are the same thing in my book.

i'm sorry but this really just makes you look foolish horse. how are they the same thing? in some countries 16 is the age where things such as six, drink, drugs and admittance to many "advlt" places become legal. in your terms, 16 is also the age that it is legal to purchase certain games. i'm not even going to bother going into detail about the differences in the human body between a 12 year old and a 16 year old, i dont really feel i need to. you are entitled to your opinions, such as these, but i do not think it is necessary to voice them in threads like these.

Im 17 and i like the look of resistance , tho im shifting towards security. I like resistance for their beliefs; not the "anger" look as somepeople here call it. I see them as guerillas that have been in many wars over recent times, they wear those type of clothes tho that little kids think are fashionable among older kids, but the resistance are wearing hoodies dirty jeans because they have nothing else to wear. If i was to go resistance, i would make myself jamaican and if i had a mic i would talk al' jamiakarn ma' bredda :P

Some of the security archetypes on the website look cool, but i only like the medium and light builds with glasses, cool hair and combat trousers. B)

Don't you lie to me. Lol.

But in all seriousness,
I've stated this several times. You can't be Resistance or you're automatically a communist. And the world will end.
Lol.

But seriously this time,
Security: because they're awesome.

I dont remember if I said it here or somewhere else, but I'm 20 and Im picking resistance. I also have a group of friends and we all decided to with resistance. So my team of nearly eight 20 year olds help prove that it has little to do with age. Unless 20 is the same as 16 which is the same as 12

:P But of course, 20, 16, 12, 98, all the same in some peoples books.

I don't care what certain laws and regulations are for certain ages in certain countries, or the differences between human anatomy - that has nothing to do with this game, and is completely irrelevant. 16 and 12 are both children in my eyes, so they are both the same thing.
