I Need Help Deciding.

Post » Fri May 27, 2011 8:32 am

See I don't know because I have heard about two different things for the Resistance. One is that they are fighting for food and water and the other is that they want to go back and try and find land. It kinda seems like Waterworld to me. I kinda see the Resistance side because the ark cannot support this many people and letting people starve is not an option. But neither is endangering the possible future of humanity. When I joined the forums they made me click a button deciding on the side I pick resistance for the cloths ahhaha but I'm not sure about what I am really going to do. This is a conundrum.

We are running low on kitten rations though. We'll have to start using our guinea pig stock if things keep up like this. Oh, wait, we used all our guinea pigs to test our experimental medicines...

i personally chose the resistance because 1). they are for for a goal, and that is for freedom, which seems more important than the securities goal. 2). reading the background stories, i feel pity for the resistance, which makes be want to kick seom security butt. and 3). they have cool clothes

I picked security just because it will be the first team I plan to stick to for a while. I don't personally side with either group because they are both too extremist for my liking, but each of them also has a few good clothing choices, so they are pretty equal in my mind. I'm going to start with Security just because I know the resistance will draw the youngins, the generally less skilled crowd, to it because of its "badass" reputation and every ten year old that watched the trailer wants to be like the blade weilder resistance with the anger hoodie. It'll be nice to start out with easier games to adapt strategies and get used to the play style, that way in a month or two after release when the weaker players start swarming to security in waves I can swap over to resistance and use what I learned against the young crowd and also against the more skilled players that stay dedicated to security. Of course this is just using stereotypes to estimate the team strengths, but most stereotypes are what they are for a reason.
TL;DR Swap sides to avoid the kiddies.

i dont even understand this hype over the 'anger' hood. out of all the resistance in the video, the Jamaican was the coolest.

It's hard to argue with muffin man. But since there are two sides to every story, what if:

The Security is actually trying to oppress the Resistance since they dont want word of their failed attempt of a utopia to reach the rest of the world. The rest of the world is very much alive and functioning. The lies of a destroyed world were just to keep people on the Ark. Once word travelled around the an utopian society (The Ark) was created everyone strived to live peacefully, but it was all a lie. The Ark wasn't an Utopia. But the government couldn't let the world know that at risk of war, robbery, and corruption resurfacing in the rest of the world. Thus the tyranny of the Security is trying to eliminate the threat of the resistance.

I think we can pretty much assue the rest of the world isn't very much alive and functioning. The Ark was a Utopia, which is why the refugees came there. I think you're probably reading too much into it. The most simple answers are the most likely.

I dont know I specifically read that both sides believe they are doing the right thing. So im positive that it's not as simple as you think it is.

He believes that the rest of the world is, to some extent, messed up. He never said anything about the two sides.
