Because LA isn't far from Vegas in real life. All you have to do is hit I-15 and drive on down to LA or up it to Vegas.

The new animations really make this game look spectacular. The iron sights and new holding animations make the combat look a lot better than in Fallout 3. Ahhh, October is going to be a good month.

Well it said that intro video is of you tied to a pole looking in 1st person at vegas and then you look up at benny and he shoots you, so kidnapping seems to make sence.

Well, he doesn't really pause or anything while coming up with the word to describe them by, it's just, very casually, "you're kidnapped by raiders and shot in the head". So to me at least. the way Chris said it makes it seem that he meant it literally.

Signing off my life to Obsidian in October

if it has more replay value than F03....i'm in trouble

I played FO3 for so long and then i had to get my HD on my PS3 wiped so i lost all my original data

But since around the DLC on PS3 came out i've been playing.... I have 11 days in log hours

So i can guess my total would be around 16 day :/

Sounds like the "timed healing" aspect of Stimpacks will mean that having high Endurance might not actually be pointless.

You're right, It could have also been that it was the easiest way to describe the shooters without confusing the interview or the fans. Rather than saying "It was a group of cuniving gangsters who want you package which we dont know what was in it, and you have to find your shooter named benny in a checkered suit." Raiders are well known in the seires so more people would understand. He could've also meant as just a group of people who "Raid", not technically "Raiders".

Just "gangsters" would've worked, and wouldn't be confusing at all.

Actually, I liked MGKid's point that Ben might've hired raiders to whack you. Still, I guess we'll have to wait and see.
