Anybody who likes the leafs

That would be me.

My wife told me that Quebec or somebody else tried to get the Canadian Leaders Debate changed because almost everyone in Quebec would be watching the playoffs. Is the debate still going on? LOL.

Guess I just have to vote for my Canadian teams then and Pittsburg. Go Leafs Go. Force of habit.

I don't even know who is in the play offs. Haven't really paid much attetion, just watched a few Leaf games and that was it.

Heart:
Bruins over Canucks

Brain:
Canucks over Bruins

I say that because I think the Bruins' solid goaltending, and overall physicalness and depth can beat anyone in the East. No one in the east is soo dirty that they scare me too much. If the Flyers had better goaltending, Ovi firing on all cylinders, Crosby playing well, that would be different. But things being as they are, I think that the Bruins have a real chance. Thomas can flail his way to the cup!

Interesting that Detroit and Pitt both got decisive wins.

Washington on the other hand- that's going to overtime. Ovi hasn't exploded (of course there's still plenty of time) like the Caps have needed him too.

The Flyers goal tending is fine,Its not stellar but good enough to get you to the Cup. The real problem is the defense and desire to win. With Pronger out and everyone playing piss poor in their own zone it makes it tough on whatever goalie is in net. As far as the desire to win I guess they figure the switch can be flipped at anytime.Once they had an secure position in the East the team coasted and showed no desire to win while the hungry teams fighting for positioning knocked the Fryers down a few seeds.

Right now Boosh and Bob are the type of guess that will get hot for a few games, but even a hot goalie can look bad with no help. You know this personally s a Bruins fan.Timmy is a good goalie no arguments there but what really makes him stand out is the great D the Bruins play.

Saw the highlights from the Washington game. It didn't look as close as the score would make it seem, but Lundqvist kept it close with his outstanding play.

That's a bummer. I bet you could find a Canadian stream somewhere, but I'm not sure where I'd go about looking. Better off going to a sports-bar.

Hehe, we brought a second tv up so both games are always on :hehe: and up here in Canada between CBC and TSN we only miss games if there are 5 in one night, like last night. I hate when they mess with the schedule. It should be 4 games a night I say!

Anaheim is royally screwed if they don't get Hiller back. Ellis didn't perform and Emery is iffy because of his hip.

Buffalo can thank Ryan Miller for that one, first good game by the Flyers in a while but of course they face a brick wal.

I went to the Pens/Lightning game last night. The Pens played so poorly! They should be ashamed of that first-period performance. I have to give credit to Tampa Bay, though. The played a good game.

The Capitals, Ducks, and Canucks also won last night.

Hoo boy Franzen knocked out during the Coyotes game.. he gets hurt way too much especially of the concussion-like variety. :(

The Wings-Coyotes game on kinda early.

I can't think of any that wouldn't get knocked out by that hit. It wasn't the hit from the other player so much as it was from the boards.

True. To clarify he came back later on and played again after they kept him in some containment-like room. Wings nearly blew a 4-0 lead.

I'm quite surprised at how Boston hasn't put up much of a fight against Montreal. They are now going to Montreal down 2-0 and I imagine the crowd is going to be ruckus.

Also surprised at how San Jose just got manhandled last night by the Kings.

I was glad to see the Kings win a game. I don't know if they have enough to win the series, but they played well last night.
