Best player in the playoffs can do as he pleases especially with all the [censored] talking form the Sabers and the inability to back it up.

So you are admitting the Flyers get away with unsportsmanlike conduct because you think their good?

By the way, did you cry into your pillow when Richards got punched in his rat face?

What Briere did was not the most tasteful thing but hey its playoff hockey if I wanted a tasteful sport I would watch golf.

First off Buffalo shouldn't be worried about getting their revenge like I said in an earlier post, secondly if it came down to it the Flyers are a much tougher and physical team the only team in the east that can beat their toughness would be Boston.

P.S. 5-1!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I kinda feel for Vancouverites - the press had been lambasting them since game 4, and it's only snowballed since there despite game 6 being pretty competitive. Still, if they do lose game 7, they've got nowhere to look but a mirror for the reason why.

I'll be watching online while I party with y'alls.

I'm rooting for the Canucks for two reasons.First I hate the Blackhawks and secondly I want the Flyers to remain the latest team to come back from a 3-0 deficit.

Well I wasn't confident in the Flyers coming into the playoffs considering how poorly they where playing but they flipped the switch and they where the better team overall. Goaltending is what kept Buffalo in it with some amazing play by Miller and some shaky play by 3 Flyers goalies.

Lots of hits, lots of Kessler, lots of Luongo keeping cool under the pressure.

This is what I've been waiting for. Shut out the champions boys.

Wow, Pomenville (sp) gone 4-6 months after surgery for that skate cut. Ouch.

(2) San Jose Sharks vs. (7) Los Angeles Kings ---> Kings in 6 (gotta support my team after all :P )
(3) Detroit Red Wings vs. (6) Phoenix Coyotes ---> Wings in 5
(4) Anaheim Ducks vs. (5) Nashville Predators ---> Tough one. Ducks in 7

Eastern Conference
(1) Washington Capitals vs. (8) New York Rangers ---> Caps in 4
(2) Philadelphia Flyers vs. (7) Buffalo Sabres --->Flyers in 5
(3) Boston Bruins vs. (6) Montreal Canadiens ---> Boston in 6

Looks like overtime. The nailbiting continues to its logical conclusion. Chicago has Crawford to thank for getting them this far, that's for sure. He's kept them in the game where Vancouver dominated.

Oh boy, last minute score by the Hawks during a PP against them, and now it's OT. After a lot of no scoring, the game is getting very tense.

Ugh. The only thing worse than canucks fans, are canucks fans who actually have something to cheer about...

Crawford deserves a medal for keeping them alive for so long.

I predicted the 3 star players right after the winning goal. Crawford is a beast and held Chicago all game. Amazing Canadian talent. Good job both teams!!

Well, tonight is Game 7 here in Pittsburgh. We get to see if the team who has the worst power play in the playoffs, the worst penalty kill in the playoffs and the goalie with the worst save % can win. It doesn't look promising, but stranger things have happened. Go Pens!

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Western Conference
(1) Vancouver Canucks vs. (8) Chicago Blackhawks - Canucks win series 4-3
(2) San Jose Sharks vs. (7) Los Angeles Kings - Sharks win series 4-2
(3) Detroit Red Wings vs. (6) Phoenix Coyotes - Red Wings win series 4-0
(4) Anaheim Ducks vs. (5) Nashville Predators - Predators win series 4-2

Eastern Conference
(1) Washington Capitals vs. (8) New York Rangers - Capitals win series 4-1
(2) Philadelphia Flyers vs. (7) Buffalo Sabres - Flyers win series 4-3
(3) Boston Bruins vs. (6) Montreal Canadiens - Series tied 3-3
(4) Pittsburgh Penguins vs. (5) Tampa Bay Lightning - Series tied 3-3

At least you won the cup last year. You have something. Still waiting over 40 years for the Leafs to do it. :P

I just can't believe how we have 3 games going to game 7 and maybe Boston Montreal goes there as well if Montreal wins tonight that is.

I'm surprised they have to play back to back games. Nonetheless I'll be watching both games tonight. I think CBC will have the Montreal/Boston game televised nationally because a Canadian team is playing, which means I will also stream the other game (Pittsburgh/Tampa) which, consequently, is also on CBC in the middle of that game.

I'm quite surprised at how many great series' there's been. Vancouver.. wow, Game 7 nearly epitomized their entire series with having a lead and nearly choking it away allowing a shorty just before the game was over.

Red Wings get another crack at the Sharks, this time it's the Wings who are well rested and not-so-banged-up as last year, so no excuses.

Vancouver gets to play Nashville and I think Nashville has the edge with Vancouver playing a full 7 games and Nashville getting some rest.

I find the NHL's scheduling quite bizarre. Yesterday, the Montreal/Boston series played its game 6 the same night as two other game 7's. Besides being a tad counterintuitive, it can actually be detrimental to those teams who then get less rest for the next round. I can understand if they're just tiptoeing around the other scheduled games in those arenas (many of which share with NBA teams), but other than that they should try their damnedest to keep things regular. Play on even days, rest on odd... Something like that.

I was confused at the occasional two days off each series would get, but yeah, I see what you're saying and I agree. I'm certainly not a Montreal or Boston fan, but I don't think it's very fair to make them play back to back. This probably means, then, that the NHL try and force the Conference Semifinals round on Friday instead of this weekend.

In my team's series, certainly the Red Wings are not going to enjoy the travel, and fans out east are not going to enjoy more very late games.

I'm wondering why the schedule for the WCSF isn't out yet.. every series out west is finished already, and the rest of the ECSF will be determined tonight.

I'm hoping by some miracle Pitt wins, as much as I hate them I think they would be easier for the Flyers to face if it comes down to it.

Thankfully I'm not in the US to see Versus/NBC sniff Crosby ass, but I imagine the possibility of him coming back in the next series to be quite high, and of course feel bad for US non-Penguin fans who would no doubt be drowning in "Crosby" should the Penguins go on. Add onto that my hero Stevie Y is GM for Tampa, so.. go Lightning!
