I've been a vampire on my second character for 140something hours now, it's an integral part of my Skyrim experience at this point.
All the vampire content in Dawnguard feels like winning the lottery.

I'm hoping all the powers we've seen showcased for the new vampires aren't exclusive to your Vampire Lord form. I want my little Breton lady to chuck people over buildings and off cliffs without sacrificing her good looks, and to be able to turn into bats as she pleases.

Considering though that the bat form was demonstrated by a normal looking vampire first, I'm fairly certain this will be the case.

What makes a vampire evil ? ...because they svck blood ? They only do it so survive.. If anything werewolfs are evil

Werewolves are generally neutral. They act like normal wolves when in their beast form and normal people when not. They may or may not use their beast form to hunt people.. Really depends on who is the Werewolf. So generally, they are neutral just like wolves.

Vampires are generally evil cause they require to svck the blood of humanoids which will either kill that person or turn them into a Vampire... Basicly, Vampires HAVE to kill and "eat" (So to say) people... So generally, they are evil.

But what if a vampire feeds off the evil doer? Like Lestat and other vampires from that series? Then they would in a since be Hero's.

I think that if a vampire feeds off of evil doers, avoids harming innocents, takes only blood that they need, etc., that he could still be a morally good person. Even when I play as a Dawnguard, if I encounter such a vampire I would not want to kill him.

Exactly my thinking.

Several of the vampires followed that path in Anne Rice's books. They did not deny what they were but they also chose not to become monsters.

when they asked you companions asked you did you say no and if so who did you go too to get another companion quest ??

I went and did some radiant quests before going back and becoming a werewolf when I felt my character would do so himself.

Vampires are generally evil cause they require to svck the blood of humanoids which will either kill that person or turn them into a Vampire... Basicly, Vampires HAVE to kill and "eat" (So to say) people... So generally, they are evil.

Wrong and here's why.

Angel (Buffy) fed off pigs.
Blade had a serum
Other Vampires in the Blade films had familiars that they fed off but kept them alive
Mick Saint John (Moonlight) fed off bloodpacks he got from his vampire friend working in a morgue
As did most other vamps in Moonlight, even though they did keep human familiars who agreed to feeding the vampires their own blood but not at the cost of their own lives.

Angel, Blade and Mick Saint John are all examples of heroic vampires, though they are not the only ones.

I thought the vampires in the last game were a crazy amount of fun to play, a little tougher in this one but that's not necessarily a bad thing.

The only vampire fiction I've enjoyed was the Bram Stoker book and the count from sesame street when I was a kid. Which is a shame cause I think the idea of them is pretty cool but it's one of those things that's rarely done well. Same with pirates actually.

To those who replied to me.

First: I said generally, not always. I know the good vampires out there.

Secondly: I'm talking about TES Lore. In TES, Vampires need the blood from Humanoids, last I check. Not jsut any animal's blood.

3rdly: Werewolves are Neutral and they don't attack on sight and don't attack everything. They act just like wolves and will only attack if attacked, or if they are hunting. And when they are hunting, then they most likely will get best prey and only stay on that... And normally, best prey is a mammoth and I think werewolves would rather kill a mammoth than a normal every day person. Also, werewolves come in different forms. You have 'tame' werewolves like the Companions which they can control their wolf forms and normally only use their wolf forms to hunt down their enemies. You also have 'wild' werewolves, like Sindling, who cannot control their wolf form which will end up acting like a wolf and only kill what it thinks is best prey to go after instead of what the actually person wish. Lastly, we have Blood Wolves (Bloodmoon Werewolves) that are basicly controlled by Hircine to help Hircine to do his own hunts. So in general, werewolves are Neutral and normally don't bother people unless they have a reason to do so.. That reason could be for good, evil, or just cause of their wolf side.

Forgive the abrupt reply, but you generalised and didn't specify TES vampires, in which case I would've agreed seeing as the only example of a vampire within TES that I can't say was evil was Lucien Lachance. If he was evil because of anything, it was his involvment with the DB, but even they cannot be said to be evil.

I am no more interested in vampires today than I was yesterday.

In other words, I have no interest in them at all. It's a good thing Bethesda is allowing us to join the Dawnguard, because otherwise there wouldn't be much for me in Dawnguard.

I agree, that's one of the main flaws of Skyrim as far as I'm concerned. A lot of quest lines should have branched out and offer player choices, but they didn't, instead the quest designer just laughed the player in the face with a "haha, now you can't play this quest line any more until you do exactly as I want!"
Spoiler
Like in this case it should have been possible to join the Silver Hand faction and fight the werewolves or something.

Or at least be a companion and continue to do radiant quests without turning into a walking abomination...

As for Vampires, I was never a fan of Vampirism in Elder Scrolls period. They walk that tightrope of "Too irritating" or "Not unique enough", and fall on the first step. I think the best "MIddle ground" of Vampirism is Morrowind's harsh penalties from Sun Exposure, but great boons in physical prowess, with Oblivion's ability to hide amongst the populace.
