Really annoyed with this game.

all of that but
not really sure what you mean by the 3rd one,

Railroading means you're forced along a set track, the story can't be altered in any way regardless of your actions.

but all of those except "more choices" "more quests" and possibly that one are opinion.

No. Though you just crossed off 3 of 5 of my rather short list. That leaves gambling and my assertion that the writing is better. It isn't my opinion that gambling exists in New Vegas, go to a casino.

That only leaves my statement that the writing is better... and as far as writing goes, the two are leagues apart in quality. This isn't merely a matter of opinion, there are objective standards to constructing a narrative, and Fallout 3's story just isn't very good. The plot holes are large enough fall into, and the dialogue is some of the most wooden, lifeless tripe in the history of RPGs (though admittedly, Oblivion was worse).

. i could care less about writing, this isnt a book, lol. i prefer good gameplay over a good story, so things like weapon mods, iron sights, and reputation are a bigger deal for me.

This is an RPG. If you don't want good writing, why not play a shooter? The shooting will be a lot better in a game dedicated to nothing -but- shooting, and you won't have to skip over all of that pointless writing.

Bethesda should just skip the RPG aspect and make a shooter set in a huge explorable region. That would make more sense to me.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. is pretty much what a Fallout based shooter would be.

Three words: NO. FLIPPIN. WAY

If you want a shooter, go play Call of Duty.

The opposite to me - they should scrap the FPS stuff and stop mixing things up for no good reason. The gamemarket is filled with shooters for all tastes (even for my tastes - Stalker being one example, Arma 2 being another), but good RPGs are much harder to find these days.

Since they are making a FO MMO I bet it will be focused more on exploration than actual role-playing elements. It is much easier to design new dungeons than it is to come up with new interactive stories.

Wasn't Interplay doing FOOL? There are even recent dev comments about it on... "other sites".

You put 40 hours into a game

Sir, you have my respect, 40 hours in a game you obviously did not like from the start.
