Walked right out of Doc Mitchell's and thought i would do a "Walkabout". Hell I have been playing RPG's for decades! I am a seasoned veteran! I played D&D as a kid. I was wrong. Really wrong. :(

Tried fixer for the first time to see what effects it has on addiction..
In quarry junction as a sneak marksman, everytime I lined a shot up after slowly getting into position at midday heavy light exposure...
Quachhh chaaa fuzzy hazy blue white screen, jumping irl, finger spasming trigger, rifle flash, lucky to hit at all, pairs of angry death claws heading towards me.

First game lets head to the cemetary, this road north is the way right? Cazadors can't be that tough right? the road to Chances knife is not guarded by three every game for me right?... all wrong.

Costantly playing caravan as chems wear off, not being able to tell what cards I'm playing.
It's great to play though, and rofl if you win.

- Placing C4 packages in a room where 4 or 5 powder gangsters were sleeping, took out my detonator ready to sneak away, got busted, crapped my pants and clicked my mouse button in the proses.

- Annoying deathclaws with my varmint rifle and 35rounds of normal ammunition at level 4 or something, thinking that I was the perfect sniper because of my newly purchased scope with night sight.

- Wandering straight into the basemant at the REPCONN facility: "Ow! Not a good idea.. my head still hurts."

- Ignoring yellow warning signs, thinking I can handle a little bit of radiation lets go exploring.

- Stumbling of a cliff straight into a cazador nest.

I don't know where to start really.

Didn't understand how to use terminals so ignored them for ages.

Didn't think it was worth to upgrading unarmed/melee as I had guns.

Fighting Deathclaws very early with poor armour and weapons.

Had a radiation suit but had dumped it before I climbed Black Mountain.

Did a quick save when caught on BM, low on HP and ammo, between a tent and barrel with two mutants immedietly in front of me. When I eventually beat them I died almost immedietally because I hadn't understood how radiation poisoning worked.

Chose the "whole region" option when firing up Helios One, now the NCR are coming to kill me because I don't seem to have any way of improving my standing with them. Giving power to the whole region seemed such a nice thing to do and you'd think the NCR that the thing had been turned on at all.

Trying to clear out all the Nightkin at REPCONN at level....under 8. by myself. with naught but a half broken service rifle, same condition shotgun, and a grenade "rifle". and then realizing I could've just talked to one guy.

Having taken up the quest to photograph the landmarks of the Mojave, I arrived at the first of them, the Sunset Sarsaprilla factory sign, pointed my camera, and then soon became confused as to why I couldn't take a picture. Upon closer inspection, I seemed to have sold/given away all my film. D'oh! So I trekked back to Michaelangelo for a re-up, before popping in to Vault 21 to do some shopping then heading back out to the factory. I pointed my camera, and still there was no click. Unbelievably, I'd sold the film again! What an idiot! I abandoned to quest in a fit of pique at that point, and resolved to pay more attention in future when bulk-selling ammo.

Stupidest thing? Hard to think of something that hasn't already been mentioned... ah, I know.

Well for some reason I've gotten into the habit of turning off radios in buildings/shacks/etc, and I didn't pay attention when I decided to turn off The King's jukebox.

Lucky for me I save regularly, because that guy was NOT happy.

That's why Davinson attacked me on sight. Oh well, another stupid thing I did then.

Sneaking toward Nipton, when out runs a "civilian" and says something about lottery, and keeps running - but when I put my cursor on him to talk it says something about "....pickpocket", so I assumed that he had pickpocketed me and I shot him dead. Whoops, my bad

Repeatedly.

Because it was so damn funny.

When my first character left Goodsprings he headed north to Sloan and then tried to run past the deathclaws to get to Vegas. Heh. He got as far as a trailer that was on the road and hid in that for a while, but those deathclaws just wouldn't leave the area and so he never made it out of there alive no matter how fast he ran or tried to sneak away.

My next character decided to actually listen to the locals and headed south after Goodsprings!

I ignored the advice of the miners at the Deathclaw-infested quarry and continued down the road, although when I reloaded and tried it again with a stealth boy, I succeeded at getting past the Deathclaws and taking the short route to Vegas.
